Very disappointing pen
Don’t buy this product, folks. I opened up the beautifully presented package with great excitement. The pen was beautiful. A step up from the Parker fountain pens I’ve been using for years. I followed the instructions to the letter and...disaster. I popped the pen into my pocket to take it to work and the I’m leaked all over my trousers. I persevered and fitted a new cartridge but trying to write was a nightmare. Ink all over the place. I messaged the company’s Facebook page and they were very helpful. They suggested bending the nib to reduce the ink flow. Well now the ink won’t flow properly, I have to shake the ink down every sentence and, as a consequence of this, I’ve got little ink spots all over my work and my hands are permanently covered with ink.I’m so disappointed as I though this pen would be a real help to me. I’ll continue to persevere with it for a few more days but am thinking of buying another cheap Parker pen to tide me over. What a shame!

Unbiased. Buy, buy, buy, buy never stop buying stuff because your life is empty and meaningless.
Firstly, if you read any other reviews on this pen (which was probably made by some poor Chinese person in a prison factory 🏭) comparing it in anyway, shape or form to a German Montblanc manufactured pen then you are being mislead... This is a £25 pen you have to pay hundreds of £ for a Montblanc fountain pen the good one's start about £800 and go up to many thousands depending on the materials used to make it.This pen is a cheap and nasty piece of,,, pen.The nib has sharp edges, the ink converter sucks because it doesn't "suck", the design on the outside is just a sticker, the threading on the cap crunches and squeaks when you remove or replace it (nasty nasty cheap and nasty) FYI removing & replacing the lid of a Montblanc is a delight. This pen reminds me of the rubbish government issue fountain pens we were given at school back in the early sixties, I am old enough to remember them, that toar the paper as you write especially on the cheap recycled toilet paper jotters they gave us at school.I did not expect a good quality pen when I ordered this "Wordsworth & Bläck" fountain pen and I certainly wasn't surprised when I experienced the lack of quality.Let's be honest what do you expect for £25? Quality!!The box it came in was probably more expensive to manufacture then the product it was made to contain... Much like many products we buy nowadays this is especially obvious with the food industry. The psychology of product marketing is very dependent on selling the packaging . The fact is if you like the packaging then you'll ignore the lack of quality in the product,,, It is, of course, a hornswoggle.Supermarkets understand the psychology of this phenomenon. Ask yourself how many times have you baught something because the packaging promised something special or tasty but you were left totally disappointedThe "Only" reason I bought this Wordsworth & Bläck fountain pen 🖋 is to avoid buying so many disposable plastic pens, many of which write better than this pen, don't get me wrong I'm not some gullible environmentalists tree hugging fool taken in by the misinformation feigned by the results of pseudo scientists but I do think there is far too much unnecessary plastic produced...Value for money.... Easy to hold.... Very comfortable... All prompts from Amazon..Buy this pen 🖋 you'll get it delivered to you.

Very heavy, very nice to use, incredibly ink heavy!
Being a left handed using a fountain pen can be a bit difficult, no such issues with this one, it flows beautifully and is weighty in the hand. Two issues though. It’s incredibly ink heavy! Uses cartridges like there’s no tomorrow. I can go through a cartridge in a couple of weeks and I’m not a big writer. The lid screws on and sometimes it will unscrew the whole pen rather than just the lid section.

A masterstroke
This Wordsworth black and gold trim pen resembles a Montblanc 146 only the Montblanc is a tad lighter. It is subjective whether one prefers a heavier or lighter pen. The crucial point is that the Wordsworth writes just as smoothly as the Montblanc despite a price difference of GBP 500. That is indeed incredible. It comes in a well made simple but tatseful case in which is an impressive black pen that looks stylish although of synthetic fabric. The pen has an efficient converter that has a deep well holding lots of ink. The presentation box has a box of six cartridges - three black ink and three blue ink cartridges. The most important part of the pen - the nib - is grand looking in gold that matches the gold trims on the pen. The nib is medium size and writes ever so smoothly. I comapared it with my Montblanc 146, and the smoothness is virtually identical. At GBP 19.99, this is an ideal pen for all purposes. It can be the workhorse pen at the office desk, or be carried around in one's pocket all day long, or as a signing pen. It is a worthy gift for any occasion.I mentioned that it is heavier than the Monblanc 146, but when writing, it is so well-balanced that the weight is not felt.

What a beautiful fountain pen
The pen comes in a lovely leatherette box holding the pen itself, 6 ink cartridges and various instructions. Inside the pen is the ink reservoir for those of you that prefer to use bottled ink. This includes me - but I'll use the ink cartridges first as they've been supplied! The pen has a lovely weighted feel to it, and a screw cap which will prevent those disastrous, top off, ink all over the pocket moments. The silver checkered effect on matt black gives a really expensive look. I'm not sure if the lid thread will mark the barrel over time - but that's a wait and see.The weight when writing is lovely and balanced. The ink flows smoothly and I can write with no smudges (I'm a right hander) Personally I had no problems getting the pen setup. Yes it took a couple of minutes for the ink to reach the nib after initial loading but this has been the same for every fountain pen I've ever had!You can't go wrong for the price of this pen. Really looking forward to using it regularly.
