It seems that you prefer a fine point pen. The pen I have is medium and gives a little bolder line, maybe 0.7 or 0.8mm. It's the standard, I guess you could say. I bought this pen as a gift to myself for journaling, as I was tired of banging around on a cold machine. It's great. I love it. It has great heft, and it writes smooth as butter. I noticed that Wordsworth and Black offer three sizes: fine, medium, and broad; I'm not advertising for them, but if you shop around, you may find one that fits with what you're looking for. I do like my medium and am glad I bought it. I use it constantly. I hope it helps.
