Good so far for price!
After breaking these in I’m quite impressed with them so far. I’ve been riding almost 10 years now and usually don’t stray away from gauntlet style gloves. I recently moved to an area where it’s a lot hotter than I’m used to, and I needed something that was a little more breathable, because my normal gloves were make me sweat too much. These ones have excellent grip while also being very breathable and give a nice breeze that you can feel, but still blocking you from feeling any debris. Having a touchscreen on both the index finger and thumb is also a nice addition, other gloves, I’ve used give you one or the other. The only downside is the index finger is a little tight in the front, feels as if the stitching is too big on the inside. great gloves overall!

OUCH.
UPDATED: After an hour of riding, I have to give up on these. They are nicely made, but the lining is insufficient, and the gloves have numerous pressure points that form at the knuckles and finger joints. This leads to the plastic parts gently but persistently digging in to your hands at these points, such that they become difficult to wear after only a short time. You won't notice for the first half-hour or when riding fast, but you sure will after an hour or when riding slow.It could be that my gloves are too small, but I don't think so. I'm already 1 size over the fitment chart; 2 sizes over will result in the gloves being too long for my fingers. They wear well, are decently warm (but not hot) and seem to provide tons of protection, but I can't wear them.My recommendation: If you try them on and feel any pressure points when you make a fist, return them. You'll try and convince yourself they'll break in or that it won't be a problem when riding, but they won't and it will. Be mindful of the knuckles and the side of the thumb, and be sure to clench you hands - you won't feel the pressure points with your hands flat.------First impressions are these gloves are really pretty good.I would say "for the price", but that's not true - they look like they would be decent gloves at nearly twice the price. At this price point it's difficult to see how they could be beat.Note: These fit small. I was right on the size line at 20.5 cm, putting me between M and L, and per the guide on the package I should definitely be an M . But I purchased the L size, and it fits snug.Good stuff:- Looks / smells like real leather, material seems durable, flexible and decently stitched. I don't expect any difficulty in breaking them in / getting used to them. Dexterity seems decent for this thickness of material.- They do appear to have protection in all of the good places, including the wrist, knuckles, thumb and fingers. The bits on the fingers are arguable, but the knuckle protection does a good job of distributing force, and the palm slider looks capable enough. I can believe they performed for those reviewers that crashed.- There is no plastic on the finger joints, so those are perfectly comfortable.- They include a pull tab for getting them on and the velcro closure seems decently heavy-duty.- There's grippy stuff on the top of the palms. Remains to be see how useful that is.- Good packaging, I wouldn't be ashamed to get / give these as a gift.- You look pretty steampunk wearing these.Arguable stuff:- Not highly ventilated. I expect these to be on the warmer side, which suits me fine. Not warm enough for winter, probably not terribly waterproof. Can't expect anything else from leather gloves.- The "Steel" name notwithstanding, the accoutrements are all plastic. Common for most gloves, I don't know how anyone could expect otherwise.- The large plastic parts can seem a bit less comfortable than gloves with less protection, and they do limit your hand/wrist mobility a bit. This is to be expected, but I can see how it might be uncomfortable for some peeps.- Touch screen is limited to the pad of the index finger only. I expect it will be a little awkward to hit the screen while the phone is in the motorcycle mount, but I don't plan to do so very often anyway. It's better than my existing gloves, which have exactly zero touch-compatible fingers.- You look pretty steampunk wearing these. The only real initial concern I have is the plastic "madbike" thing on the back of the wrist is a little stiff, makes the glove a touch less than perfectly comfortable when you flex your wrist. It doesn't really add any protection, and they should replace that with a more flexible label. I hope that breaks in a bit, although I doubt I will notice it while riding. My Alpinestar SMX-1 Air gloves are a quite a bit more comfortable, and likely a bit cooler due to non-leather / breathable materials. They're also about twice the price and don't offer nearly as much physical protection as the ILMs, so it's kind of a personal preference if the Alpinestars are "better" than then ILMs.I thought the Alpinestars were pretty badass when I purchased them years ago, but they look pretty weak compared to the ILMs, as you can see in the photos. The ILMs have protection where the Alpinestars don't, and have more protection where the Alpinestars do.Going to try these on a tour soon; will update if I have anything meaningful to add.

Punched Cement
Just heard I got cheated on. Repeatedly punched a cement wall. These gloves didn't even scuff, and my hands are fine.

Gloves
What I didn't like was some strings were loose in the finger area and had to be sew. It was a good glove for bikers. Expect to see some loose strings everywhere.

A workhorse
I have been using this glove for over a year now and riding in warm or cold weather. Seems the fit is almost perfect. I bought a name brand motorcycle glove a few months back but i keep using this glove due to fit. The right velcro enclosure is slightly loosing its grip otherwise it works wonderfully.

Cumple muy bien lo ofrecido
Medida justa, apariencia, comodidad, funcionalidad, justo lo que ofrecen.Tengo meses usándolos y tuve que reforzar la costura de la lengüeta con que se sujeta el velcro.
