It works even after 1 year past the due
Good quality for the soldering work. I am surprised to find that they are still working after 1 year later. Recommend.

This stuff makes me a soldering wizzard! With 2 Z's!
My normal soldering skills are about as subtle as persuasion by a crowbar. But I have decided it's time to upgrade my skills. As part of that, buying the right equipment and supplies seemed like an important step. Wow. I mean, it was a whole bunch of things from a new iron, to tip tinner to this, but I went from having trouble soldering two great big wires together to soldering a damaged tiny brittle pin. With this I can put solder right where I want, and it melts easy and does what it is supposed to in all the instructions on how to solder. Highly recommend.

Good solder paste for use with small components - can be brittle
THE GOODI assemble a few hundred boards a year and this is my go-to solder paste for small components. It is easy to dispense using very-fine tips and and spreads easily. It is also easy to rework due to its low temperature profile. I have gone through 4-5 tubes over the last 2 years.THE BADBecause this is a bismuth mix, it tends to be brittle and should not be used for components that stand higher off the board or for connectors that will have pressure exerted on them. Any lateral force will shear the solder joint fairly easily. For those components use a 63/37 tin/lead mix paste as they create a higher-strength joint. The trade off is that tin/lead paste tends to be thicker so it can be harder to dispense and is not very good for very fine-pitch components.CONSIDERATIONSMake sure you follow the low-temperature profile recommended by the manufacturer. Using this paste with a high-temp profile will result in unsightly sputtering/bubbling of the flux that will require post-assembly cleaning.CONCLUSIONSThis is my go-to paste for small components and I use it for all boards that don't have large components or SMD connectors on them. If that is your use-case, this is the best paste I have found.

super good
very easy to work with. Love the syringe for getting exactly what I want, exactly where I want it.

Did exactly what I bought it for
I bought it to help rework on a very thick board with many power/GND planes. Almost impossible to unsolder large caps and other parts. Used a little of this on each and like magic the reflow was almost immediate. Thinking of getting radical and trying to use under a BGA for the same reason.

This stuff is great.
Of all the pastes I have had to use over the years, this one really works the best.My only problem is the green plastic tip is plastic and really should have been a metal tube...no worries made one for it. So far so good.UPDATE: Just got two more tubes. Better paste than I have ever used.
