I had never heard of this cologne until I had done some research into the other Caswell Massey offering that George Washington wore. Then I was introduced to JF Kennedy's favorite, Jockey Club. After reading reviews, and seeing I might enjoy the notes in it, I blind bought it. Well, I am wholly pleased with the purchase! This is a luxurious cologne. The bottle is solid and handsome (which matters to some). The scent itself is wonderful: very fresh, loads of rich baby-powder/shaving cream in there, and it lasts and lasts. It is by no means harsh or distracting in the shaving cream area; in fact it's well balanced and perfectly clean. After putting it on, I sat near my wife who kept saying how fresh I smelled (which again matters to some). So, I can only recommend this to anyone looking for a fairly inexpensive cologne (@35USD), which has a strong heritage, and to any gentleman who enjoys classical shave shop scents. Cheers.

I bought a "sample" kit of Caswell-Massey colognes through Bespoke Post and Jockey Club was one of the 3 scents I received. I really enjoyed it so I decided to purchase more. This product (the one I bought through Amazon and am reviewing now) does not smell the same. While it is not unpleasant, it is more of a feminine scent. So just a heads up: you may be gifting this to your Aunt or Grandmother instead of wearing it (if you're a man).

Bought a small bottle in July of 2022 and loved it. Ended up running out and decided to get a big bottle. Unfortunately it was a completely different scent, disappointed as it was my favorite cologne.
