awesome. wish I had ordered this sooner. the glove that came with my iron was a lot shorter and I kept burning myself. this one covers a few inches up my arm. no more burns!!

Wish the gloves were a bit smaller. Purchased for a pre-teen to style hair and gloves were too big.

Works as advertised

I'm used to curling my hair with a curling iron ~ it's easy to hold both ends; the handle and the tip of the iron. With my curling wand, it's a different story since it doesn't have a cool end to hold on to while curling which can lead to accidentally touching the hot end and burning myself :( I wanted to get a glove that was better than the original one that came with my wand, so I thought I'd give this one a try. This glove is about the same quality as the inexpensive stretchy knit gloves that "fit anyone" There is no extra burn protection at the end of the finger tips that I've found in other gloves. It does protect you better than wearing nothing, On to how it fits on the hand. I'm an average sized woman with average sized hands. This glove extends almost an inch past the ends of most of my fingers which makes it harder to get a good grip on the extremely hot wand. The wrist of the glove is pretty long too but that doesn't really make any difference to how well my fingers are protected from the heat. I prefer the ones that fit me more tightly and that have a thicker fabric at the finger tips. Will this work? Yes. Is it my all time favorite? No, it's not, but that's just my opinion. These are a dream come true when it comes to styling my hair with a wand. The wand came with one of those 3 finger gloves but it was so awkward and difficult to use so I bought these and I am never looking back. They cut my styling time down so much and I was able to curl my hair better than I ever had before. I have very long hair so it takes a while to get it to look just right and now that I can grab any strand of hair at any time and hold it against the wand, it's like a 180-degree change in my ability. I love these and would recommend them to anyone! I don't use them when I flat iron my hair because I don't feel I need to but if you have curly hair that takes a long time to get straight I bet these would be great for you too and they really will save you time! I will say the downfall is how hot your hands get,mine sweat a lot because it's summer and already too hot in my apartment without a 250-degree wand right next to my cheek and in my hand. Overall I think these were a smart buy and I am happy with my purchase. I 100% recommend them to anyone that uses heat on their hair, trust me, you'll be amazed at how much easier everything becomes (and I thought it was easy to style my hair before the gloves!)Here is how I break down my star rating:5 stars – I love it! Recently, I began to learn the hobby of wood burning. When I got started with my new hobby, I learned one thing very quickly; in order to stay safe, I need a pair of heat gloves to protect my hands, because the wood burning tool gets very hot. I quickly purchased this set of Heat Resistant Gloves from seller, EV Beauty. In the package, I received two soft gloves that are stretchy so one size fits most. The gloves are meant to be used for working with flat iron hair straighteners, curling irons and other hot hair stylers. I will use the gloves for this purpose as well, but my primary reason for getting the gloves is to keep my hands from getting seriously burned while wood burning. The gloves are not for professional use, and I don’t think they would protect from very extreme heat, but they will help to avoid accidental burns by giving me the opportunity to move my hand away quickly if I need to. My dad always said, you need the right tools to do a job, and I guess I consider this pair of gloves to be part of my wood burning tool set. I am so happy to have this pair of gloves, and I am going to use it often to create wonderful designs on wood. I hope this review helps to better inform your purchasing decision on this product. Just got these today and couldn't wait to try them out. They didn't disappoint. I recently purchased a curler, the type without a clamp, and the heat resistant gloves it came with were a joke (they only covered your thumb and two fingers and you can still feel the heat and burn). If you're anything like me, I'm all thumbs with everything I use and I knew I needed ones with better protection so I was in search of another pair. When I found these I liked the fact that it comes in a pair rather than just one glove like most other ones for sale. I was able to curl my while head of hair, occasionally breaching the barrel and still not worry about it being too hot to touch. Can't wait to use it more often!
