X-cosrackVinyl Record Storage Crate, Wooden LP Album Shelf Vinyl Storage Cube Organizer Box

I had about 60 records or so, just standing up on a niche above my stereo and decided to find somehting to put them in to prevent any mishaps. After looking at a number of options, I ordered two of the X-cosrack Vinyl Record Storage Crates. They arrived in a couple of days so I set about putting them together.I put the two together in about a 1/2 an hour, they are nicely made and went together quite well and they look great. I really like the finish on the wood and the black powder coated expanded metal sides. I added felt pads under each corner to avoid scratching the paint of the space they set into. Now my records are secure and I don't have to worry about them sliding off onto my turntable.One piece of advice I have in regard to putting them together is, the sides are actually three pieces; remove them from the bags they are in and keep them together. Screw a corner angle to the front piece and add one side, then add the other side. Then you can slide the bottom into place and add the back. Don't tighten the screws all the way until you've fitted everything up and squared the crate; make sure it will set flat by putting it on a flat surface. Then tighten the screws completely. There seems to be a few screws that don't "lock" into the inserts, they'll just keep turning, but they are tight enough that it doesn't matter.All in all, these are pretty nice for the price.

I like these. I looked at many stores for the right fit. They screw together quickly, I used my cordless drill and it was a cinch. They fit my records nicely faced with the records toward you and the handles on the side. These are not as versatile because placing the records with the cover toward you will create spine wear. Also stacking them any sort of way is not possible because the albums do not have room. I do NOT recommend for transporting. But for the storage out of the way and tucked onto a shelf, these are fine. Machine screws are a nice touch. Not having old wood around is nice. These are made from MDF with a veneer / coating. The grates are loose. I would suggest a dab of hot melt glue for reducing any rattles if that comes up for you. This is a perfect fit for me! The shelf I have is excellent; all of this came together beautifully. It’s a nice industrial look. FYI, mine came scratched already from the packing, the metal was scratched. Pro tip: put some felt pads on the bottom. There are bonus screws, I ended up with 2 extra screws. I only bought three of these for my immediate needs. I won’t buy any more since this is all the room I have. I try to only keep what I enjoy sitting down and listening to. The price seems okay, but if you needed more than 4, they would become quite expensive. Admittedly, very nice to have fast delivery and not have to drive all over looking for a good fit. MDF nice for no splinters. Just a little dust from screwing together. NOT waterproof! DO NOT bring outside! Indoor use only.

Easy to assemble

Assembly was easy, and these are working great for holding record albums.

These worked perfect for my records. The description said each one would hold up to 65 records. I have 125 records with some being a 2 record sleeve. I completely filled the 2 units. They look great. I am happy with the purchase.

I really like the look of this item. I wish it was a little easier to assemble. I will likely get another one to handle the overflow of my albums so they will all be in one place.
