Description states, mounted rod sits 1 inch from wall, not true. This rod was for a tapestry that is going on a hallway wall, so it needed to be close to the wall. If I mounted the tapestry with the hardware provided, it would be 4 inches out from the wall. Not only would that look silly, people would bump into it as they walked through the hallway. See attached picture of mounting hardware provided. When I received the rod, I took it out of the box, did not check mounting hardware on that day, it was in a separate little box. Since it was recycle day, I put the box in the recycle bin and it was picked up. So now I am stuck with a rod that I can't send back since I don't have the original box. I have to try and find 1 inch hardware to fit it. So I am not very happy about that.

This is nice, beautifully made and a great accent for the tapestry I hung in my bedroom. Easy to use. Four stars only because the anchors thing included are very specifically stated to be only for a wide variety of brick and concrete walls. Nothing for sheet rock. Luckily I had my own anchors but I think most people in the United States are probably mounting in sheet rock.

Sags too much to support a tapestry. Have to use a center brace which required cutting the tapestry. I wish it was cast metal instead of the thin tube.

Very nice tapestry rod that installed easily and compliments the tapestry.
