Unbelievably comfortable
Waited what seemed like forever but it was only days for this to arrive. As soon as I received it I quickly tore open the packaging like a kid at Xmas. The small pkt of proofride you get is great for the top of the saddle but not enough for both top and bottom. Thankfully I pre ordered a tin before the saddle was delivered. Once proofed I let it sit for a few hours before buffing the top with the rag I pre ordered. Straight out to the shed and unchained my trusty iron (aluminum) horse. Played about with how I roughly want it and went on my first ride, albeit, just up and down the front street over a few bumps and whatnot to feel the springs. To say this seat is comfortable is an understatement. Right out of the box no issues whatsoever. Cant wait to feel what it's like after it's broken in. If your in the market and like me you've spent pounds on different saddles give this one a go. I doubt you'll be dissapointed. Just remember though, this saddle is for the sit bolt upright type of bikes.

Looks the business
Absolutely fantastic looking saddle, high quality materials but let down by the seat riveting.I know it's underneath but riveting is a very basic process and at this level, should be much neater.I am considering whether to return,I will contact Brooks first to see what they say.

Pain free at last !
I have bought this as a last chance solution for my sore prostrate, and so far I am delighted I have only done 12 miles but what struck me was the pressure point that is very sore for me has just disappeared .So the ride yesterday was comfortable throughout and today I actually feel like I want to get on the bike again because its pain free. I have had 2 gel seats over the last 2 years and though initially they are comfortable a year per saddle though is not good value for moneyUpdate, I have now used this saddle 13 miles a day for the last 5 weeks no more sore prostrate it may expensive when compared with gel saddles but as far as I'm concerned it wins hands down this is an investment for my health.

Comfortable saddle.
I have not been truly comfortable on a bicycle saddle since I was a teenager. I am male 80 kg, 5'11'' and in my early 60s. I have a Brompton bike with M bars giving me a fairly upright posture. I found the standard Brompton saddle didn't suit me at all. I was persuaded to buy this saddle by other positive reviews. I was concerned about the potential longish breaking in period but right away it was more comfortable than any saddle I have previously experienced (wearing non padded trousers). My ride is no longer limited by discomfort and I no longer feel I have to stand on the pedals for broken road surfaces (of which there are plenty). Its definitely more slippy than most modern saddles but not sufficient to be an issue for me. Thank you Brooks.

Excellent ride but needs careful adjustment
This saddle has provided an excellent ride from the start on my round-town bike, but it needs precise adjustment (overall saddle height, back and forth position, tilt) in relation to the handlebar, to avoid continuous sliding (towards the front in my case). I found that a slight angle pointing up works for me (as opposed to the usual perfectly levelled set). Also, after a few weeks, some noise developed when riding over bumps. I sprayed a little amount of grease on the front and read attach point to the frame, and the noise disappeared (I suspect actually the front attach was the cause). Highly recommended for city bikes
