No. You will need some substantial ones as the weed control is thick. Try: GardenMate Pack of 250 x 6''/150mm 2.9mm thick steel U shaped Garden Securing Pegs they work well.

The 130 refers to the thickness of the material, not the area it would cover. This is very strong and thick so will last a long time. A 50m roll at 1m wide covers 50 sq metres.

Im not sure what horse tail is but unless you can seal all the edges weeds etc will grow under the membrane and out under the edges. All you hope for is to slow the growth. I hope this helps.

I used a couple of rolls of this 3 years ago and it is still going strong. I had to dig trees, bramble weeds etc out first. I would not consider laying over brambles. You must get the brambles etc. including roots or you will be wasting time and money. I don’t think I would even use it as a temporary solution.
