So this item does fit and the quick release function is really useful but…as with all toilet fittings the nylon nuts do not hold tight enough abs slipedge occurs.The top fitting option may well work but mine is a bolt through type (the most common)I fitted mine by using the nylon bolt as a washer (drill through it to make it slip on the shaft) then fitted a metal nut to tighten the fitting.It does stay in place regardless of how people use it (there are clearly some strange habits)I work at a venue that uses very similar seats and will say that the quick release function is good for cleaning but…. People are too heavy handed with lifting/lowering the seat so they come off the pins so wouldn’t recommend for commercial use.This one is free to whomever what’s your engineer and market the idea.Fit a metal bolt inside a nylon casing for the fittings!! I’m sure this can’t be too difficult and costly and your fitting will sell worldwide!!!Whomever decided that nylon fitted to metal would work is an idiot!!

One of the better seats I have bought. couple of things to note:The soft close seems to only work best from fully open - drop the seat from halfway and it drops like a stone - be aware of that as that "could" cause the plastic to break / crack especially if it is cold.Fitting is easy BUT it does have a tendency to gradually slide backwards on the toilet after a few days of use - some thing I find very annoying havign to adjust constantly....Update: missus sat in it at an angle and it exploded into pieces! Not impressed. Have now replaced with a solid wood seat for safety and longevityI would say to avoid purchasing this seat unless you really need something in a hurry that you intend to then replace with something better.

Very happy with my toilet seat, I love that it’s antibacterial and easy to release to clean. Also I love soft close. So much better than your standard toilet seat. Worth the money

Reasonably easy to install, seems study and IS easy to clean.Arrived fast and well packaged. A little more price wise than your average bog seat,but is holding up well.. So Far So Good!

Nice seat but not really heavy duty as described. It's very easy to install and easy to wipe clean. Probably better seats out there for this price.
