Bonbons Yarn, Beach, 8 x 28 yd/26 m

I bought this small package of yarn in Beach to make some coasters. The colors are nice and vibrant, and coordinate well together. The yarn (100% cotton in this colorway) is very soft and easy to work with. The skeins are small (28 yds per skein), but I hope to get 6 or so coasters out of the pack. It's a little pricey on Amazon, I think you can get this cheaper at your local craft store. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase.

This was purchased for a mug hugger project in the granny square book called “Crochet Granny Squares and More”. It was enough yarn to make 3 mug huggers and probably 1 more. Love these colors. Cotton is my go-to yarn. This was easy to work with.

It is good when you only need a very little amount of yarn, but I needed more. I felt like the photos make think they are bigger, so I added a photo where you can see the the whole pack of yarn can fit on the palm of my hand. Seems like good quality yarn.

They are smaller than I imagined (I thought they would be the size of the Lily Sugar'n Cream cotton yarn) but they are still sufficient for the small project for which I purchased them. For a larger product of course it would be better for larger skeins of yarn, but for small multicolor projects this is great. Each skein I received measured about 2 1/2" by 1". However they seem pretty densely packed (I couldn't get to the thread that generally comes from the center of the yarn and so had to start from the outside in due to how densely it was packed, which is good!) Some ideas of the small size of projects would be like hackey sack bean bags, small frisbees, coasters, bookmarks, wash cloths, etc.

These tiny skeins of yarn are very small, but so cute. The weight and texture of this particular selection is similar to heavy pearl cotton and would be appropriate for making doilies, baby sweaters/booties/hats, doll clothes, and other "smalls." The description is accurate--be sure to read it carefully before buying, so you won't be disappointed when you see how small Bonbons really are. The nice thing about Bonbons is that you don't have to buy a huge skein of yarn for a small project, and you get a variety of nice colors.

I have a book for little knitted critters that I bought this yarn for. It Normally I would just use left over yarn for these projects but I don't have quite the colors I want for some so I bought these. The product information says that each skein measures 2.5 by 1 by 5.25-Inch. I can't figure out how they came up with this measurement as each skein is actually less than 4 inches long and a little over an inch in diameter. I thought they would be about 3x bigger. The yarn is nice and fun to work with. However, in the future, I'll just get together with my other knitting friends and trade off our project leftovers for my smaller projects. It's cheaper and more resourceful.

These are tiny bonbons. There a nice thin yarn but not that much of each color I made a infant hat and it took 3 skiens. Bold colors are great sleek yarn no fuzzing, works well. Nice variety pack but expect to change colors often doing a project and keep them small. Would work well for hand embroidery or small crochet projects, or just friendship bracelets. Would buy again now that I know what they are but was a little surprised when got them cause they were so small but I'm new to crochet so it's a beginners error.

One 100% cotton skein yielded one 6x4 inch rectangle using half double crochet stitches using a 4mm hook.

Nice feel when working with this yarn. Glides through my fingers nicely without feeling rough. I crochet a lot of small items and these little balls are a perfect size to work with.

Los colores estan super bonitos, la calidad me parece muy bien, son pequeños COMO LO DICE EN LA ETIQUETA! Vi comentarios diciendo que no esperaban que fueran tan pequeños, pero si lo dice en las especificaciones. En fin, si buscas hacer alguna manualidad y ocupas un poco como yo, los use para hacer borlas y quedaron muy bonitas :)
