Faux ivy good coverage, looks good, Installed in less than 10 minues!
nice product. You can see the ivy plants from both sides. It is not entire private - meaning you can see through it a bit but it blocks out what you need to, provides some privacy. I put this on a black iron gate, I purchased the tall one and it was perfect fit. I used zip ties and had the thing on the gate/fence in about 5 minutes. you need a few more cover a bigger space but for the price and the size, it really is a good deal. From far away it looks real. Up close it looks pretty good, pretty real. For durability we will have to wait and see but all in all - a good product, good coverage from both sides, more real because you can see through it a bit. I have another one on a different fence/gate that has a backing on it - and you cannot see the ivy from one side- but it looks much more fake. This one is nice. I am thinking of getting another covering more area. It was also shipped SUPER fast, I didn't expect to get it so quick as it wasn't a e day Prime item so was pleasantly surprised.

100 times better than Deerhouse
I decided to write this review to let folks know the difference between these two products which look essentially the same on the Amazon site. I first bought the 3 units of the Best choice to try it and was extremely pleased. Then I went back to buy enough to complete my project and it had gone up in price by about $20 ($74). Of course that was too much so I bought the Deerhouse (this time I bought 6 units (their price was $46 per unit). It looked acceptable (not quite as nice as the Best Choice, but I could use them on the back side of my property where they wouldn't show as much. Then I went back to buy 6 more and the price of the Best Choice had gone down (it was still more then the DearHouse but I could live with the price. So with that background here is why I so much prefer the Best Choice: 1. It is a much sturdier product on a heavy grid - the Dear House is cheap plastic joined together in sections which keep breaking apart as you attempt to put it up. 2. It comes with it's own green zip ties. Dearhouse does not come with zip ties (which are almost $9 for 100). In addition the Dear house required way more zip ties to keep it up and together mainly because of how it is constructed in breakaway sections. 3. The leaves are a slightly darker green - Dearhouse leaves are a little more bright and shiny. I preferred the Bestchoice leaves as they appear more natural. 4. The Bestchoice leaves stay attached. The Dearhouse leaves keep coming off. 5. So much easier to install. So all in all purchase the BestChoice even though it is more expensive I'm sorry I bought the Deerhouse at all and now I'm having to live with it because I did install it.

Holds up well outdoors
This has held up remarkably well in direct sunlight for the past year. I was a little skeptical at first because the leaf coverage is "airy" and not as dense as some of the photos. But it does allow wind through, and makes for complete privacy from neighbours. I have mine ziptues onto a metal trellis in the garden and it's quite nice. The only downside is that the leaves are mounted on strips of plastic - so if you trim the sheet, those strips will unwind from the plastic mesh. You'll have to hand-knot any strip that gets trimmed. That being said, mine look great after a year outdoors in the sun, snow, and wind. I didn't really notice any odd smell after unboxing. Because the sheet is so flexible, you could wrap this around a rain barrel or fence, without any problem.

Best privacy ivy I could find after searching the internet for weeks - for a reasonable price
Perfect for my needs. I wanted a privacy screen higher than the fence at the back of my property so that when I sit in my back family room with french doors during the non- leaf season of the year my neighbors could not watch my couch-potato behaviors :) This is especially relevant when it gets dark at 5pm and I have lights on in the house. I built a rough wood frame with 3 2x4's and used a cheap vinyl 2x8 privacy lattice i purchased from Menards as a structure. I'm not even sure I would need the lattice part of this design but it does give some support to the vine roll, especially if the squirrels decide it is a new playground toy. Pros: Good price compared to other similar options. Good coverage of leaves over the surface involved Very adjustable because it is designed in squares that pop together (very tightly) so you probably won't have to do any cutting if you want a different size. Seems quite durable for the outdoor application I chose and the way I mounted it. Very little work and easy to move or change for other purposes later. Cons: The square sections are snapped together VERY tightly and I had to use a pliers to get them apart. Not sure how it would be to put them back together... The "realistic" assessment of this faux ivy is pretty good but not perfect and I might not want to use it in a place people will walk right up to it. I would also like it if the company created some "accessories" in the form of non-square sections for the bottom row that would mimic ivy as it hangs down irregularly because part of the realism of my ivy is lost in that it is just one big rectangle! Overall I'm very happy with this product and might use it in another part of my yard for a similar reason. I'll let you know if it falls apart during the winter.

Great addition to our backyard
We have had these for about 3 months now and they are great. Here’s why: 1. Our backyard gets a ton of direct Texas sunlight and these things stay looking realistic. Not even a tiny bit of fading or wear and tear. 2. It’s incredibly windy in my backyard, and the leaves stay attached. No wind issues. 3. They look super realistic and are highly durable. They aren’t corny or cheap looking. They look luxury. 4. Incredibly private. You can’t see inside our fence at all. It feels very safe and protected in my backyard. Overall 10/10. I would recommend to everyone.

Bad not good at all. Very bad.
Bad ...not good at all. Very bad. The construction is not like I have seen ivy privacy fence constructed. The cut along the top and bottom are horrible, the sides are finished in the plastic webbing. The actual panels themselves ARE NOT straight. You lay them out and the square layout of the mesh its like they cut it off at an angle on the side so its horribly done, awful to lay out. Very very shotty. It really would work as a duck blind out in some Bayou or swamp to hide behind and shoot duck and nothing more. I am sorry but I am being COMPLETELY Honest. My problem is perhaps I know what it should look like as 5 years ago I went onto a site called Taylor gifts and they advertised these 59 inch by 94 inch panels faux ivy privacy fencing and I paid 39.95 free shipping. I went back to see if they were still in business and sadly they are not. The area I am installing uses this ivy on both sides, it is apart from the FIVE year old still in existence faux ivy panels that incidentally did fade but we sprayed them with two tones of green paint which helped greatly. The five year old stuff is dense, each leaf is attached to the mesh, we had little loss of leaves over the years, and its not like the fabric melted off in our extremely hot and 300 days of Mile High Denver Sunshine or winters. The stuff from Taylor gifts another China made item lasted and is still in use. We installed our 8 panels this past weekend, and wow what a difference, it is literally see thru. The leaves are just aligned horribly. It is like they took these thin strands of ivy and did a winding technique to attach each row to to the very thin plastic fencing. So disappointed. We can not return them. It took two and a half weeks for a break in the weather to get them installed and I even had to cough up another 42.00 for a 9th panel because I underordered so that was way sad for me to have to order more of this junk. I do not see it lasting more than a year and I am actually so embarrassed having it up I hate that my neighbor has to look at it. It makes me look like a manic prepper trying to shield myself from the evil world, and not a yard loving decorating flower monger that I am. Literally it looks like I am a bad neighbor now.

Beautiful from afar but tacky and shiny up close, and they’ll eventually shed.
The title covers everything, as does the fake ivy. I’ve bought around ten of these panels over the past five years or so, and obviously like them well enough to keep buying, but their tendency to randomly generate weird litter is worth mentioning. Sometimes they arrive well made and fine to last at least a few years, and other times they’re falling apart from the get-go and trashing your neighborhood with deceptively leafy plastic. They all fade and shed quite a bit eventually, given enough time and weather. In other words, I like this solution, but also feel guilty about it and know many people who’d be upset by the trash factor. Nothing’s worse than zero privacy, so do what you have to do, just maybe not as a long-term fix.
