L12M4P21 Laptop Replacement Battery for Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro 13 Series L13S4P21 121500156 21CP5/57/128-2 7.4V 54WH/7400MAH 8-Cell

I have been using this battery for a while and it holds a charge in stand by for about 6hrs. Very happy with is.

This battery was purchased to replace the dead battery on my Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro. It was easy to install, especially due to the included tools to facilitate taking the base cover off of laptop, separating base from upper part of laptop, and unscrewing two types of screws. The new battery was charged to 50%, just like the instructions said it would be. I have not had it long enough to comment on battery life before recharge is needed. According to the instructions, it will take a few cycles of discharge and recharge to obtain maximum efficiency.

I purchased and received this battery for my Lenovo Yoga laptop, only to discover that the tabs to secure the battery to the laptop were bent.I thought that was a one-off problem, returned the battery, and requested an update, only to discover the same problem. I then realized that the manufacturer wanted to reduce packaging costs with the side benefit of having customers say thank you for screwing them, so I took my fingers and a screwdriver and bent the tabs back. I should have been a bit less lazy and gone for a needle nose plier.The only other issue is that it is not obvious which way the electrical leads go into the unit. I chose straight with the back lead to the left. The laptop turned on, so mission accomplished.I do like that they included tools.It would be nice if the screw tabs were straight. I would rather pay an extra $0.50 rather than deal with the tab grief.

Bought this for a yoga 2 pro where battery was only lasting 1.5 hours.I had to return another battery a few dollars cheaper that had the connector installed backwards and didn’t work.This battery came in foam padding and an static shielding bag. The other was just in a box. Much better packaging, and quality of the connector.I’m getting 6-7 hours estimated with the battery icon.The only issue I had was getting the battery to be recognized by windows 8.1. The steps from the manufacturer didn’t work. YouTube search offered another option to update bios and that worked.

We have 2 Lenovo laptops and both batters were dying. I ordered these, just to give it a try. They arrived quickly and were surprisingly easy to install. Definitely recommend.

I purchased this to replace my 8 year old battery in my Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro 13. I watched a YouTube video on how to take the back cover off...basically several screws and prying off the cover. After that, it's roughly 4-5 screws and disconnecting the wire to the battery. Do everything in reverse and you have a brand new battery. So far, so good and the battery is holding a much longer charge. Bonus...it's much cheaper than an OEM battery.

It seemed to be working great and then all thr sudden it doesn’t Work anymore and the laptop must remain plugged in at all time

Always a problem with rechargeable batteries that you don't know how long they have been sitting in storage. This battery is old and holds a limited charge compared to a new battery. Will be looking next time for a manufacture that date codes its batteries so if it is old, I can return it before going through the install process.
