Better than the OEM blades.
I bought these a bit over a month ago for my Toro 42" zero-turn. The OEM blades for that mower have unimpressive performance and dull quickly, especially on our irregular terrain strewn with anthills, where the blades are forever hitting dirt, small rocks, sticks, and suchlike obstacles. So far, these blades are staying sharp, and do a good job even on tall grass - this afternoon I drove through a stand of 3' tall Johnsongrass, and it only took two passes to get it all cut, rather than four or five with the OEM blades. It remains to be seen how well they'll resharpen when the time comes, bit I'm sure they'll be easier to sharpen than the original twisty blades.

Much better than the Toro mulching blades
I had the Toro brand mulching blades and they were terrible. Grass was always clumping up on the lawn regardless of how high I set the mower. I decided to give these a try and they work much better than the OEM mulching blades. I do still get some amount of clumping when the grass is a little long, but not even close to what I got with the Toro blades. The blades also come finished with a black paint over the entire blade that left the cutting edge dull. I had to grind down the edge a little to get a nice cutting edge.

It worked
It cut the grass perfectly. Just what I needed

you get what you pay for
Number one I’ve read a bunch of the reviews and I have a SS for 2 to 5 and it leaves a trail all the way down the way and I cut these big huge lots OK so after I’m finished killing myself with this because I changed them now I’m still out there raking the grass up it’s supposed to be a mulcher right? I change the blades myself and I took the other ones off now I’m thinking I should’ve took the old ones and just sharpened them real a lot better and put them back on and then because I have a belt sander? it is what it is and sometimes you gotta read the reviews that some of the reviews are real and some member prompt this one is not a prompt one I guaranteed this,,,

Love these blades.
I purchased these blades after searching for replacement blades for my toro zero turn more after I bent the crap out of one of my blades.I decided on these as the reviews said they do a great job mulching the grass down. I was a little skeptical at first, but ordered them anyways. When they arrived I put them on the Toro with no issues. Started the mower, and began cutting my lawn. At first the mower still produced a lot of clippings, but my lawn was long. After a couple of passes over the cut clippings, the yard was almost 98% clipping free. No more racking the lawn after mowing and it helps feed the lawn.I have used these blade for at least 10 mowings before the winter started and when these blades dull, I will purchase another set.UPDATE: 04/21/14 - 5 Month ReviewI have now had these blades on the mower for 5 months, but I only started using them again after the winter was over. I have noticed that my lawn is much more luscious then before. The grass is being fed at the same time I am mowing. I also noticed that these blades are so perfectly balanced that when they are own and I am cutting, you can't tell that the blades are even on because they are that smooth. If you are in doubt about these, please don't, you will LOVE these blades from the moment you put them on.UPDATE: 09/05/15 - 23 month reviewWell I have now used these blades for two seasons now and they still mulch the lawn as I cut. What really amazes me about these blades is while the mower is running and the blades are engaged, it doesn't put off a harsh vibration through the mower. It's actually very smooth operations as if almost the blades were not engaged. My father loved the way these blades worked that he tried finding some for his 32" deck toro, but they do not make this blade for his mower. I think when the time comes, i definatly will be buy these exact blades again as I love them that much.

So much better than what comes on the mower
We ordered these to replace the dealer ones that came on the mower and WOW are we happy with them. When I say they are 100% better, I am not joking. It's as easy as cutting butter when you mow. Highly recommend replacing the stock ones with these!

Better then Collecting and Bagging leaves
I live in Florida...we have trees with small leaves, not like you northern folks with the large maple type leaves. Do, mulching with these blades was questionable. I have a Toro Zero turn mower... installed a closed hatch kit but never changed the blades out to these mulching blades. But after using these mulching blades I did notice a difference between the reguy blades and the mulching blades. These blades do much better and quicker. Being these leaves are much smaller.. I did find this to be the better option then racking, leaf sweeper, bagging or burning. Such a time consuming ordeal. If I keep mulching every 1-2 weeks at a time.. should resolve my issue.FULCRUM

Grass clumps. Have to go extra slow
Not good for heavy grass or even medium height grass.Clumps, doesn't mulch well unless you go very slow....
