I use these to connect/disconnect sections of removable outdoor 12 volt garden lighting. The 18 ga wire connections are far better for this use than the 22 ga fine wire versions. The connectors are waterproof but it would be nice if the female sections came equipped with screw-on covers to keep them watertight when they are not in use.

They claim to be water proof and so far so good. They have literally been submerged in water for 4 months now and no leaks.

easy to fit and use connected to existing wiring on boat. so far so good we will see what a season on the water will do. These are much better than previous plugs which are open to corrosion causing connection problems .

was hoping I could make extension cords for the ballasts on my ph2000s phlizon lights to reduce room heat but they are opposite to what I need. guess I am S.O.O.L.

i bought these to use on my motorized sprinkler valves so they are easy to remove.just what i wanted. great for any low voltage outdoor thingy
