durable and reasonably priced
works great for under gravel filtration systems that use 1" tubing. This pump runs quiet and has appropriate flow for a 55 gal tank. It appears durable and is reasonably priced.

Very satisfied.
This pump produces adequate pumpage for a 40-gallon aquarium. My aquarium is 18 w x 24 h x 48 l. This pump provides sufficient flow for a 40-gallon aquarium. My aquarium dimensions are 18 inches wide, 24 inches high, and 48 inches long.

Works well
Nice powerful powerhead. Doesn't quite fit on my upright tube but I was able to get it close enough to work. Would be nice if it had an adjustable output nozzle

Way too powerful for shallow or less than 20 gallon tanks
The 10-40 gallon powerhead is probably more suited for 40-60 gallons (unless you have agitation loving fish). It moves a LOT of water. In my three 20 long aquariums it's too much. All of the plants were disrupted some uprooted (from a soil planted tank which is super annoying). It throws the shrimp around too much to be left on 24/7. This would be great for a breeder tank. Anything tall. For now the powerhead is attached to a sponge filter on a timer. 6 on 6 off to give the livestock a break. The suction cups are good. The plate that holds the suction cups and then attaches to the powerhead wants to fall off if you adjust anything inside the tank. That's annoying.Would I recommend for a smaller tank, no. Shallow tank, no.
