I bought this a while ago, thinking I was going to have time to start melting metal, but I haven't yet. Soon, I expect. I'll update if I run into problems.

so one thing to always remember and that is to temper the crucible as not doing this will possibly cause the crucible to fail so if done then your good to go as this crubile already worked great on 3 big copper melts and still looks great

I got 2 crucible one from Amazon and one from a local jeweler supplier and the one on the left is the Amazon bought and the one on the right is jewelry supply store it has discoloured.
