Pleasantly surprised by the ease of assembly. Only gripe here is that nailing the back on takes longer than actually putting the thing together because there are so many nails to hammer in.Looks-wise it’s amazing. One small thing is the creases in the folds of the backing. Not a deal break at all though.Sturdiness is very good. They don’t shake or wobble or move around.Biggest downside is the price for some particle board, but hey, at least they did an amazing job.I’ll come back in a few months and update my review with how bad the shelves and back bowed (cause it always happens with these types of products).

I had been looking locally for a bookcase this size for month to put all my homeschooling materials. Not only could I not find one, but they were more expensive. This is a great product for the price and looks good. No complaints whatsoever.

The shelf is great, very pretty. It was a good price and shipped fast enough. It came with a tipping hook, which we appreciate.Con: I do hate the particle board backing and would have preferred to pay more for a wood back; it could be in two pieces if a solid piece makes shipping impossible, no one would know if the seam lined up with a shelf. The cheap backing really detracts from the beauty of the natural wood. I would have happily paid more for a sturdy and more attractive backing. However, overall, it's a great bookshelf for a low price.

Love the shelf and it's def what I needed, So 5 stars on that, however, I ordered a white one and they sent over the black one so only rated it 3 stars.

I spent hours and hours looking for office furniture that looked good, would be hopefully durable, easy to assemble, and fit my space requirements. Unfortunately, some of these are hard to determine without having hands on - something that just isn't an option for these bigger items. In any case, I bought this with a matching set that included this, a file cabinet, a smaller box type shelf, and a full L shaped desk with hutch. This fit in perfectly with the set and looked great once assembled. Overall, the product was fairly easy to assemble and came well packed. The wood is a standard particle board for most pieces. All you need for assembly on all of these different furniture pieces is a philips screwdriver and a hammer. I would recommend also having a partner to help assemble as some of the pieces can be a bit big.This cabinet was super fast assembly and decent enough durability. It requires a lot of nails to get the back on securely. It is nice since four of the five shelves can be adjusted to many different heights. As with any shelving, you want to put the heavier stuff on bottom, but this shelf is pretty sturdy on its own.Overall, the quality is better than the light IKEA type of furniture, but less than a high quality solid wood build. I would recommend it and haven't had any problems with it after using it day in and out for several months.

I bought three of these for my wife's room. They're not hi-end, but for the money they do the job we needed them to do quite nicely and seem to be of a better quality than some I've come across. They arrived fairly quickly (about a week). All the pieces were there and the instructions are actually simple to follow It took about 30-40 minutes each to assemble (advise two people) and they are reasonably stable without the wall anchor (we have no children). Time will tell, but so far, so good.

My 14 yr old and I put this together ourselves :) The bookshelf fit great in the space needed. The color grey matches perfectly with her headboard, thanks.
