Arrived without lid
I purchased a product with a lid and received one without a lid. I haven’t used it yet. It looks good, just doesn’t have the expected lid.

Perfect Appam Pan
Just what I was looking for! It is perfect for making Appam to go with Kerala stew. It came nicely packaged with a wooden spatula and a teflon scrunchy for cleaning it without scratching the nonstick coating. It is a small pan (22cm/8.6" in diameter, 3.25mm thick and holds .9 liter) but makes appam that fit a dinner plate (see photo). The screws on the inside of the pan are also coated in the nonstick coating so you can use the whole pan. It even comes with an instruction manual for how to care for the pan and some recipes. Attached are photos of the inside of the pan with the extras, back of pan, and first appam in new pan. I have made egg crepes in the pan and they also release perfectly. The pan should work well for hoppers too. I used a gas stove top with low med heat. It does not work on induction - tried it. The bottom of the pan is lightly rounded, so you may have to watch for a hot spot if using on an electric stove top. didn't try that yet.

Sturdy Hopper-Pan
Hoppers, a basket shaped crepe is famous in Sri Lanka although its origin is from India.Appachatty/ Breakfast pan is a misnomer. It is specifically a South Indian term. In Sri Lanka it is known as a 'Hopper Pan' or 'Appa-hatty'. Renaming it as Hopper-pan / Appa chatty would be useful to non-Indians who search for the product.Having tried many non-stick hopper pans of Indian brands, I decided to get the Futura [from Hawkins] on Amazon. The handles which stick out do not get heated like with other pans. The quality of metal and coating used is superior to any other brand. The brand speaks for itself.

Great Appachatty
Wooden stay-cool handless very helpful.

Great non-stick surface
I like the Appachetty pan. The only issues were the small size because of which the handles get hot. Other than that the product is good for the price!

Quick Aapams!
Very useful, only defect is that the handle gets hot quickly.
