AlgaeBarn Poseidon's Feast :: Live Marine Copepods - 3000+ Tisbe & Tigriopus Pods for Mandarin & Finicky Fish (32oz)

First off the customer support by far is probably the best I have ever dealt with for any product ever since I began buying anything ever. I emailed them with lots of questions and concerns and they very quickly responded with every answer I had asked them. I will also first state this is a brand new 75 reef I am upgrading from a 57 deep blue. I went all out this time, since I learned many mistakes from the first tank after 5 years of running. I have a sapphire trigger 39" sump/refugium , reef octopus skimmer,3 Kessil A160we leds above reef and one of the new plant smaller Kessils that just came out for my refugium. I have 14 mangroves reef mid etc... in refugium. I poured the two bags I bought directly into refugium in hopes that they would start to colonize my fuge before entering the tank. I have no fish currently in this tank because I'm taking my sweet time with this setup. Within days I have noticed them all over every inch of my 75 and all over my refugium. I am feeding every other day different types of food mixtures to get the multiple sizes that were sent all a chance to eat. I have so much joy watching these little guys swim around and chase the food. I guess the simple things in life really amuse me haha. I received my box from Colorado I believe on one of the coldest days we had in march here in West Virginia. I opened it up with fear they would all be frozen solid and dead. The package on the inside was perfect. It had a heat pad and inside a bag full of some kind of material you would see in a moving blanket. I also got a nice little treat! They sent me a Swedish fish with my invoice. A+ service. Will only be going to them from now on for any refugium needs or live food.

Love Copepods so much from Algae Barn that I went on their site and subscribed to bi-monthly deliveries and saved money.

Items arrived very quick!! They all seem to be alive from what I can see My only issue was one of the bags was leaking a bit so lost some water and maybe some pods who knows but overall very good

My tank was doing fine. I had a mandarin goby that had picked my tank clean of copepods (as far as I could tell). I tried this product. The next two days, a bicolor angel died, and a Duncan coral vanished. Red slime algae has since appeared everywhere, and I am trying to chemi treat that now. Water parameters are perfect (confirmed by LFS). Could be a coincidence.. But I'm not purchasing this product ever again.

This product was shipped very fast! The best packaging I could have ever expected. This thing was insulated good enough for a blizzard. The Pods were still warm, alive, and swimming! The heat pack and insulation were perfect! The seller is to notch. I had a hiccup with a previous order due to weather and shipping problems. The problem was resolved beyond my expectations, Far beyond in fact! It's easy to post feedback when things go perfect, but you don't really know what you are dealing with until you have a problem. Rest assured AlgaeBarn is top notch. They even put a couple of free goodies in the package. The Pods were great the seller was stellar! HIGHLY recommended!

It’s been 2 weeks and I’ve been dosing ALOT of ocean majick phyto. The pod larva are all over the front of my tank and I can see where the older ones are gathering together and eating rotting food and poop. They look a lot like spider mites to me. Great product I will buy again. I do recommend over dosing phytoplankton every day and night for a big population to keep a mandarin.

All arrive dead

Definitely worth getting lots of pods!!
