I have had several air purifiers in the past and this one is my favorite! There is settings 1-3. I generally keep mine at 2, as I like a very small background noise, but when I’m not in the room or I’m at work I like to turn it to the highest setting, 3, which I love because it is so strong and powerful, but a little too loud at that high setting for my personal comfort. The high setting would work perfect for an office though that needs the sound of a noise machine for confidentiality!It does have a pre filter of sorts that catches the “larger” dust, but think even like the layer of dust that would normally line your shelves. I have a dusty home, living with 4 cats in a smaller place, but between my air purifier and vacuuming regularly you really wouldn’t know it. Again, 4 cats. Think about all that dust and hair. With knowing that I have a generally dusty home, I clean the pre filter about once a week. This keeps it running optimally and helps get more dust out of the air! Usually I will shake the pre filter outside or if I’m feeling really enthusiastic I’ll vacuum it with the vacuum hose. Pro tip: wack the pre filter against a column or edge of a building to really clear it out. You can see in my photos the before and after of cleaning out the pre filter. From my experience, doing this sort of maintenance cleaning on your pre filter regularly will help keep the main filter cleaner longer. The main filter is what needs replaced eventually every now and then, which is why I try to extend the life of it as much as possible! You can usually buy off brand replacement filters for cheaper on Amazon. I’ve been running my air purifier *literally* non stop for about two months and my main filter is still doing very good still, given my regular pre filter cleanings.The settings are very easy to use and the cover to the filter comes off with ease, yet I don’t worry about it falling off. No tools needed!!! The filter has some Velcro that the pre filter sits on, so you don’t have to do some sort of balancing act to put it back together. Unlike other air purifiers, you don’t need to flip it any which way to take the filter out and clean it, just pop the cover off and that’s it. I know I can’t be the only one that having to flip something over (like others I’ve had) would deter me from cleaning my pre filter. It’s very true, trust me.It is very sturdy, even with my four crazy cats running around. I don’t ever worry about them knocking it over at all, which is very important for an air filter, as they can become very noisy if damaged from falling. I’ve had it happen to a previous, very expensive air purifier and it was not fun. This is much more sturdy than even the expensive one I’ve had in the past.Really, I like this one a whole lot more than any air purifier I’ve ever had. 100% recommend. Honestly I’ll buy another one eventually.

I have breathing problems and purchased this for my bedroom. It has made the air feel much fresher, and having checked the filter after two weeks find it is picking up dust, dander, etc which is good. Filter easy to clean.

We have been using this now for 2.5 months.It has been working as advertised, we have checked the back panel a few times to see the amount of dust/hair and things it captures in the filters which was quiet a lot.Noise level is fairly quiet on the lowest setting, the higher settings it sounds the same as tower fan.Overall we are very happy with the purchase

Very Pleased - I Bought 2, 1 each for my bedroom and the home office, and my nose, sinuses and lungs feel much clearer. Year-round Georgia plant and tree pollen plus the dander and fine hairs from 3 big cats have sent me to the doctor more often this year for respiratory problems than at any other time in my life. These air purifiers are fast and effective at cleaning my air. I also needed a quiet purifier in the bedroom and this baby is so whisper quiet that I keep checking it to make sure it's on! I am also loving the fact that there are no 'on-off' 'high-low' indicator lights to spoil the dark of the bedroom. The performance of these purifiers match their high ratings and their ability to cover a large area is better than most other air purifiers. Finally, the deal was sealed with me because of the purifier's great value, its already low price, it was on sale, the purifier ships with enough filters to last a year, and replacement filters are cheap! Set up was fast and easy, and aside from the clearly written instructions in the box, the company has a website with easy to understand videos that will shown you how to set up your purifier as well. By the way, the purifier looks better than its photos! I'm seriously thinking about buying another purifier for the kitchen.I tried to purchase a 3rd Veva but found they are currently unavailable. However, if hopefully they come back and you have cats, buy this - it really pulls kitty litter dust out of the air! I pulled the front to view the black filter and after running for a week and a half, it had a serious coating of the crud it had pulled from my air. No wonder I breathe better.I'm baaaack and am purchasing a 5th filter for the cat's occassionally really stinky bathroom. I love these filters. I placed the 4th filter in the kitchen and it totally removes odors and greasy smoke and the 3rd filter in my bedroom has kept me much healthier re: bad sinus problems and serious lung congestion than I was prior to its purchase. The 1st and 2nd filters are in my home office and living room. I can't imagine breathing without my VEVA filters!I just bought my 6th VEVA for the small bedroom. I can’t say enough good about VEVA. I have 4 cats now and with the pandemic I’m in the house continuously, I run the VEVAs 24/7 in conjunction with my IRobot vacuums daily and a humidifier and the house air quality is great!

I did a lot of research before buying this air purifier. We got it because we realized we have cat allergies and it made a huge difference from day one. It's quite calm on 1 and gets a bit noisy on level 2 and 3. So i run it on 3 of I'm cooking and on 1 for the night. Very satisfied with this product!
