The anodized aluminum is quite nice and makes for a sturdy pen. Medium nib is easiest to write with. Lamy makes excellent pens

My new go-to pen, writes like a dream
Went to my local stationery shop who didn't have this pen in stock which led me to order from Amazon. Shipment was quick and the pen is an absolute dream to write with. I have the extra fine nib and there's zero skipping, it flows effortlessly. The case is good for travel. Pen came with 1 cartridge only. I purchased the compatible converter separately for more flexibility; I'll use the converter with bottled ink of my choice once the cartridge runs out.
