A brilliant cookery book. Amazing recipes.
Received my book yesterday and was just browsing through the pages. This book is fantastic, or should I say addictive in a very good way. Before I knew it, my instant pot was out and and I was cooking. I had to stop because I ran out of containers.The pictures are so inviting that you almost want to try every recipe. The good thing also is that the ingredients are what you already have in your home if you are plant based and don't want your family to go back to eating processed foods. The recipes are very easy to follow. I am a busy mum and don't want to spend too much time cooking all day. Here's what I cooked in 60 minutes.1. Light Vegetable Broth page 2142. Umami Sauce Redux page 2123. Black Lentil Dahl page 1374. West African Red Bean and Sweet Potato Stew5. Szechuan Tempeh and Broccoli ( Didn't have Tempeh so I used Tofu)6. DR. Greger' s Special Spice Blend.

Disapointing cookbook
Right at the start of this book 90mins per day exercise is recommended, in my opinion anyone exercising 90mins per day would get fit, loose weight and could eat what ever they liked.Most recipes have onion powder, garlic powder, yeast and miso paste in - why? Are good fresh vegetables not enough? I dislike the idea of using processed food in my fresh food.Plant based food can be so much nicer than this and just as good for your health.

ANOTHER AMAZING BOOK BY DOCTOR GREGER!
Simple whole foods and healthy recipes!Not only are the recipes extremely nutritious but very tasty. One issue I had with plant-based cookbooks is that they require too many fancy ingredients - but this did not!I’ve been plant-based for 9 months now after reading his first book How Not To Die - I constantly recommend his books to everyone because they’ve changed my relationship with food a lot.

Recipes are complicated, time consuming and expensive
If you are looking for healthy, quick and cheap meals this book is not for you. I’ve so far cooked three recipes and each one took me hours. There is so much chopping and blending and cooking for ages, it took me all evening to cook a meal. Also frustratingly some of recipes aren’t complete with some ingredients listed not being put into the recipes.What I cooked was tasty but I think I’d have to give up my job to have time to use these recipes every day.

Absolute pure awesomeness
Pre-ordered and waited for about 6 months for the new cookbook. Was so excited when it finally arrived I was close to tears. (The How Not To Die cookbook is a gem, too).Wanna loose weight permanently? Stop making excuses and get cooking :-) Highly recommended, top marks.
