Laid out on a flat surface from the tip of the crucifix to the end is 19.5 inches.

Q: Can i be guaranteed it will not have a clasp? nor do i want one that has the tiny filler beads in with the spacers. photos/comments are inconsistent.

I'm not sure what you mean by clasp. But it is made entirely of cord threaded through the beads and decade markers. The cord on mine broke after a couple months. I recommend a similar product with chain links.
