Great quality rod.
This 3' Minka Ceiling Fan Downrod is a great quality rod. Shipped as promised.

It works, but it is slightly darker than the oil rubbed bronze of the fan.
If you need a down rod, this is the one to buy. No one will notice that the color is slightly different. I mean really, it is so minute of a difference, the person who would notice needs a pet to play with.

DO NOT USE AS A UPROD!! This is apparently for downrod applications only
im not sure what went wrong. My fan manual stated the fan was “reversible” so I assumed I could use this downrod as a uprod mounted to the floor. Apparently that’s not what they meant by “reversible”

Not much air movement
Does not move the air as much as we expected. I have it on a covered porch with the downrod that came with it. It is at 10 ft. Off the floor. It is very quiet but just doesn't move much air. Will increase downrod size to see if that helps. I do like the remote, and the fan looks great.

Can't say much other than it's a four foot threaded tubular rod that is sold as an accessory for the Minka Aire F524-ORB Oil Rubbed Bronze Ceiling Fan we ordered. Fit and finish were a perfect match. I would imagine these rods would be suitable for any oil rubbed bronze fan requiring a 3/4" diameter down rod.
