V&A Nonsense Alphabet Collectible Ceramic Mug with Printed 'D…' Poem, 430 ml (15 fl oz) - White/Green

The mug is much nicer in the flesh than it appears on the product page and, as it is fully glazed, the print should not fade if placed in a dishwasher. The mug is properly adult sized, albeit wider and shallower than a traditional design, which may not suit everyone or even some mug trees.The design is adapted from pen and ink drawings by Edward Lear and some of the other illustrations are replicated in the little leaflet attached to the handle. They are lovely, and it will be difficult not to get a full set of 26 and just choose a handful of favourites. I love the bee, pig, cat and (it feels odd to say), the rat and finally the tadpole so those will probably all be in my collection of six, oh including the apple.Presentation is not as good as the mug, however as it is shipped just in bubble wrap. I would have hoped for a box given the price of an individual item, but it is an adult-sized mug and I forgive the lack of a box all else considered.Update The mugs do not stack very well, so I am unable to add many more due to space constraints. I have not been disappointed with my choices thus far but may have a purge on mugs so that I can expand my collection further.

I was looking for mugs with letters on, for family and friends when they visit. I was looking for something chic and different and found these. Reasonably large but superb quality and amazing design, so gorgeous, a pleasure to drink out of.

Took my mug to work with me thinking I could have a nice cup of tea, only to pour water into it for the first time and it crack and leak everywhere!Now being used as an expensive paperweight. It’s a shame because I love this mug and thought it was so beautiful!

A lovely item, but the seller has absolutely no idea how to package this fragile item! Arrived in pieces!
