Finally, a Toaster That Actually Toasts! (After Two Failed Attempts)
After two years of toaster frustration, I've finally found a winner in the Zwilling Enfinigy Cool Touch Toaster. In the past two years alone, I've purchased a Black+Decker ($40) and a Cuisinart ($80), both of which promised even toasting. Both failed miserably. The Black+Decker was a complete hit-or-miss, burning one side while leaving the other pale. The Cuisinart, while slightly better, was still inconsistent, and definitely not worth the doubled price tag. I was ready to give up on the perfect slice of toast. Then, I decided to take a chance on the Zwilling Enfinigy. I was hesitant given the price point, but the reviews were promising, and I was desperate. And let me tell you, it delivered! The Zwilling toasts perfectly, every single time. I've used it for everything from thin slices of sourdough to thick bagels, and the results are consistently golden brown and evenly toasted. No more burnt edges or soggy middles! What I particularly appreciate is the simplicity of the design. The single knob adjustment makes it incredibly easy to dial in the perfect level of toastiness. No complicated settings or confusing buttons. Just a simple, reliable toaster that does its job exceptionally well. Pros: Even and consistent toasting. Simple, intuitive one-knob operation. Cool-touch exterior (a nice safety feature). Sleek, modern design. Cons: A bit pricier than other toasters. If you're tired of toasters that underperform, I highly recommend the Zwilling Enfinigy. It's an investment, but it's worth it for the consistently perfect toast. I'm finally enjoying my morning toast again!

Finally! A toaster that toasts both sides evenly!
I approached this rather expensive toaster with some hesitation. I'd had a Hamilton Beach for a decade that gradually failed to toast one side adequately, and then one day quit altogether, unless I was willing to hold the handle down through the entire toasting process. I read hundreds of reviews of other toasters, and so many shared my big complaint: One side browns, the other doesn't. Or, if you like your toast toasted, one side toasted and the other burnt. Ugh. I figured that if it took some more coin to find a toaster that consistently browned both sides as the setting indicated, it was cheaper over the long run that experimenting with a bunch of $20 disappointments. And in the comments I'd found online about this one, it toasts both sides about the same. Amazon had the best price, and Amazon always makes shopping easy. So, I plunked down the dough and went for it. And it's been soooo satisfying! My toast is beautifully, evenly browned with no burnt edges, no squishy places, just terrifically reliable toasting. It works great for English muffins too. It gives great chewy with crunch there. The toaster itself is beautiful. Understated, it blends in and compliments the rest of the kitchen like a nice piece of jewelry with a LBD. It's easy to clean, and the drawer type crumb tray doesn't flop open and deposit your crumbs across the counter or floor like the hinged types. It doesn't make that loud heart attack pop noise when the toast is up, so you need to glance at it occasionally while making the rest of your breakfast. It keeps your toast well until you're ready to grab it. The extra long cord is a nice feature, too; sometimes, counter space is iffy; and some toasters offer cords so short it's difficult to get them out from under upper cabinets. This one offers lots of range for movement. It's solid and distinctively beautiful. And long after I've forgotten what I paid for something, I live with how well it works in my life. Do I love it? Does it work for me? Does it make my life a little easier, a little better? Yep. It's just a toaster. But it does the job with real excellence.

BARELY TOASTED OR BURNT BREAD AND SHORT OPERATIONAL LIFE CAN BE YOUR FOR A WHOPPING $199.
This toaster is the most expensive toaster we have ever purchased. I expected it to last and to produce excellent toast. It did neither. The toast has always been inconsistent. The bread would come out barely toasted on most settings. We'd have to re-insert it for further toasting and then it would burn. On high setting the bread would toast unevenly. Then the plunger to lower the toast into the toaster intermittently stopped working. It would not latch the the toast would pop back up and the toaster would not turn on. We'd have to unplug and plug the toaster back in to get it working again. Now it does not work at all. As I said, I expect a $200 toaster to last. This one worked poorly for less than 3 years. In my book, that makes it the worst toaster we've ever had.

Good enough
After 20 years my reliable Magimix died. Any follow up toaster would have a tough act to follow. The Zwilling is nice enough. Takes up less space on the counter. It’s good looking. The slots are wide enough. It doesn’t toast evenly but not bad enough to return. Why not purchase a new Magimix, you ask. Many of the complaints stated the pop up knob quit working. That’s what happened after 20 years to me. Why buy a new model for a same issue in less time. I don’t think you’ll regret the Zwilling.

Best toaster I've ever used.
Best toaster I've ever used. After a frustrating and long delivery, I'm very happy with the toaster. A heavy duty well made product. 👍👍👍

We've been on the hunt for a good toaster for a while. I don't mind spending money on a good one but it has to be good. If it's no better than a cheap one why spend more. A friend bought this toaster and tested it with an entire loaf of white bread. Even perfect toasting on both sides every time. This is a great toaster that is worth the money. As a picky person I give it my endorsement.

First toaster arrived defective. Contacted Amazon on chat, within minutes I was informed that a new toaster was on its way. Within a few more minutes all the return choices and details were worked out. I was amazed. A day later my replacement arrived, in perfect working order. It is a beautiful toaster, I love it. Great service, and a great product- with a 5 year guarantee.

Pros: 1. 4 slices all at once. 2. Cool touch all around when in use. This is a safety issue for us as we have boxes and items around it and the toaster does get pushed against the wall by the kids. 3. Dial is easy to use. Number 4 gets a dark toast. Number 3 gets a light toast. Number 1 is just warming up cold bread. 4. Bagel feature is great. Toasts the inside of the bagel only. 5. Crumb tray is easy to clean. You do need to unplug to clean it well once in a while. Cons: 1. Pricier. It is just a toaster and overpriced compared to competing models. 2. It toasts unevenly. So there are heat elements that don't light up all the way and some area of the toast aren't toasted. 3. Has no overhead wire to toast items like croissants on the top of the toaster. Our cheaper toaster had this feature and we miss it. So overall, we do like the toaster a lot. It is reliable just overpriced.

After 5 months of use, the lever to put the toasts down became extremely hard to pull down. My kids are not able to use the toaster anymore. I contacted their customer service but they are asking to send the defective unit (I have to pay for the return) and then they will send me a replacement after 4 to 6 weeks. So I would have to buy another toaster while I wait for a replacement. I will just buy another toaster instead of paying shipping for a damaged toaster.
