I'm so comfortable. It's good to be comfortable.
Just buy one. Buy happiness.Ok. My priorities are not fashion, style or my appearance. I'm fat, 50 yrs old, rarely wear a bra and all I care about is feeling comfortable. I recently decided to go all in on the woman hitting middle age rejecting all social conventions thing and bought my first pair of Birks. So now you know my state of mind.I bought 2 of these and they were delivered, checks clock, 45 minutes ago. I'm typing this presently wearing the pumpkinish color. I got the gray too. It's so comfortable I do not want to take it off. Nothing pulls or binds. It's not heavy. It's stretchy and the the fabric is smooth. The hood doesn't pull at my neck and is super roomy. It has dolman type sleeves. Not a total "batwing" sleeve with no shoulder seam but it's definitely a triangular sleeve. It was 19 in from shoulder seam to bottom of cuff. I'm 5 ft 7 and find it very nearly a perfect length on me.As for the rest of it, it is 40 in from the neck seam in the back to the very bottom of the garment. It is 35 in across at the bottom and from arm pit to arm pit. So yes, it's boxy. The way this hangs is a bit odd to me. The pockets don't lay flat and look a bit gappy (prbly could be helped if sewn closed but yay pockets!!!!!). It gives me a very bulky apple shape. Nope, not flattering at all!!!! So I think it runs a bit big. I think the sleeve shape also doesn't help that wearing a potato sack look. But I mean that in the most loving way possible because this is HEAVEN SENT, BUY IT BUY IT! We all deserve to enjoy the comfort of a sack like shirt dress thingy.I bought a 5x. I'm used to having difficulty getting clothes to fit over my butt and thighs. I actually was worried this would maybe be snugger than I wanted. But not so.My hips are about 63 in I think? If that's helpful. I wear a 3 or 4 at Torrid (tops and dresses 3, pants 4). I figured Amazon sizing would make me a definite 5x and I think the size chart might have even supported that. So if you're looking to have less bagginess and a bit more skimming look, I'd size down one size. But the caveat...I haven't washed this yet. It's only, checks clock, 60 minutes into me wearing it. I will try to update after washing as I know I should do (update...they survived the wash! Cold water, low heat). Now. Because it's not great to wear clothes from the store new without washing them. Sigh, I will but for now I'm just going to enjoy this comfy sack thing. I'm too afraid the magic will wear off in the wash and it will never be the same again!Amazon if you're listening, which it'd actually be odd if you're not these days (ahem), please make more comfy but nice clothes for fat people. And maybe in all the nice colors the straight size people do? There are a lot of us and you'd be taking in the money if you sold some good, well made, affordable plus size clothes that are not covered in ruffles, flowers and bows everywhere as if we were an Easter parade float. Also, other than now, you will find very little of interest in my meta data. I'm a boring person who has no life. I search things about Napoleon Bonaparte or the real housewives. But you do you. Enjoy.

Stylish and Comfy
Firstly, I love the design of this dress. The long sleeves and hood give it a relaxed, casual vibe, perfect for everyday wear. The mini length adds a touch of flirtiness, making it suitable for various occasions, whether I'm running errands or meeting friends for brunch. The simplicity of the design also allows for easy styling, making it a go-to piece for creating effortless yet chic looks. The fabric of the dress is soft and cozy, providing warmth without feeling bulky. I appreciate that it's made of quality material that holds its shape well after multiple washes. The attention to detail, such as the ribbed cuffs and hem, adds a polished finish to the overall look. However, my only gripe with this dress is that it's a little shorter than I had hoped. As someone who prefers slightly longer lengths, especially for a casual dress like this, I found myself wishing it were just a tad longer for added comfort and modesty.Despite this minor drawback, I still love wearing The Drop Women's Iona Long-Sleeve Hooded Mini Sweatshirt Dress. Its comfort, style, and versatility make it a staple piece in my wardrobe. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fashionable yet comfortable dress to elevate their casual outfits.

Versatile Comfort: A Wardrobe Essential for Fall/Winter
I've recently found myself gravitating towards dresses and tunics paired with leggings or jeans, and this particular piece has become a staple in my fall/winter wardrobe. This is an absolute must-have for anyone looking for comfort and versatility in their clothing choices. The comfort level of this dress is unparalleled, making it a go-to option for those days when you want to feel cozy and relaxed. What's more, it's incredibly adaptable, allowing you to easily dress it down for a casual look or dress it up with the right shoes and accessories for a more polished ensemble. The quality of the fabric and construction is impressive, exuding durability and ensuring it can withstand regular wear throughout the colder months. However, it's important to note that this dress does tend to run large. I'm 5'4 and 140lbs, and even though I ordered a medium, it was still quite roomy on me. For those with a similar build, opting for a small might provide a more tailored fit.One small quirk to mention is that the hood seems to be excessively large for some reason. While this might not be a deal-breaker for everyone, it's worth considering if you prefer a more proportionate hood size.Despite the sizing issue and the oversized hood, I would undoubtedly purchase this dress again, perhaps in multiple colors, given its comfort, quality, and overall appeal. It's a versatile piece that effortlessly combines style and comfort, making it a great addition to any wardrobe

Cool but with coverage
This is my favorite thing to wear to the gym. The cotton modal fabric is soft and very breathable, so it doesn't get hot. I prefer to dress modestly at the gym, but most clothes that have the coverage I want get way too hot. This is perfect.I pair it with the Grace jogger which is made of the same fabric. Really, I just love the fabric material, and I'd love a complete collection including skirts and more styles of sweatpants and sweatshirt dresses. Like, I want to replace most of my clothes with this cotton modal blend so I can get the looks I want without being overheated and sweaty.
