Tayama TO-2000R Turbo Oven

I’ve been using these since way before air fryer came to teen I love that I can see my food cooking inside and do the crispy job for me without frying.

This is my to-go-to for cooking anything fried. The sizing and capacity is perfect for cooking for a small or large family size. The heat level varies and food tastes great. Not too expensive, I think it’s very affordable.

I bought this convection oven to replace my last one that served faithfully for 5 or 6 years.So far I'm pleased, the only complaints are small. The power cord occasionally comes loose from the motor. And the circulating fan is less powerful than previous unit which is good and bad. It does move the air during cooking, and it runs very quiet compared to last. The down side is, where after cooking, I would turn the heat element off, and use the fan to cool off the food to eating temperature. This fan speed isn't as effective for that task. I do wish the metal extender ring was more solid. Treat it gingerly, because if you bend it, it won't sit properly, and could lead to the weight of the lid collapsing possibly causing damage or glass breakage.

This is a great product. Easy to use, easy to clean. Wish they had more recipes but made some store bought biscuits in the rolled container & adopted the time & temp to work in this oven...very pleased.

WOW! Used it same day when it was delivered. to cook chicken wings, 30 min at 360 degrees. 30min later chicken is still cold and the glass is barely warn. Lights go on but the fan doesn't seem to work. Will stick to the Turbo broiler i've had for 25 yrs. Looks so beat up but still can cook some pork belly. TAYAMA IS BOO BOO!

Its a good air fryer until you drop the cover, about 2 inches high and the bulb stop working😂🤣 other than that it’s pretty nice machine, warning do not put any fatty food close to the halogen bulb, those fats will ruin your halogen bulb. Our last about 30 uses. Now its broken i convert it to fish 🐟 aquarium 🥳

This works great, but it doesn't last long. I've purchased two of these in the last 18 months. The first one stopped heating after a year and I bought a second one. The glass bowl cracks and chips easily. My first unit had small cracks and chips. The bowl for my second unit has cracked in half after less than 3 months. The crack happened while the oven was in use, and not from dropping/hitting something. It's always on the counter, so the bowl was sitting at room temperature before it was used.
