I expected this to be overpriced for what would amount to a fancy pop socket, but I have been very pretty pleasantly surpised.The ring/kickstand works great and seems to hold position really well. My big concern was the kickstand wearing down and not holding the phone up after a little while, but it really is well made. I got one of their cases as well, and that's also been a win. I mean, I spent close to $95 on the two, but I dropped my phone on tile from a ladder with this case on and didn't even get a scratch.The case itself is haunted by the ghost of my broken iPhoneX, so that sucks sometimes. I plan to bring it to a church and get that handled though. So all in all, I recommend.*Updated after dealing with customer service*So I had the same issue with the rubber wearing down and pulling away from the stand. As annoying as that glue can be, I contacted customer service and got a reply within a day. They are shipping me a brand new one.I leave my phone all over the place, so I'm not surprised that the rubber wore down. However, I am surprised by how quickly Rokform stood behind their product and made it right. Don't let the price or the handful of detractors sway you. You get what you pay for and I'm happy I spent a little more for this quality of product and customer service.

My husband purchased the case for this accessory and highly recommends it. The stability, build quality, fit, magnetic capability, and design is worth the price point.

The ring broke fairly quickly after I bought it at the draft pin (swivel). I called the company and they send me a new one. Hassle free. I’ve had this one for probably a year now and no problems. Solid product and solid customer service.

For the most part I love the Rokform system. I love the ease of transferring from my hand, to my vehicle, to my bicycle. Easy, positive connections, and the magnets are solid. They have the best bike mount of any I’ve tried (and I’ve destroyed many).However, their sports grip ring does not last. Purchased only this past April, it’s already falling apart (see photos). No drops or heavy scrapes; just movement from hand to car to bike. There is also an oozing gel coming from behind the rubber cover, which is either uncured glue, or a gel used for padding (seems more like the former).At this price it should have lasted far longer than 6 months.Also, while not unexpected due to its plastic build and inherent fragility, the connection on the lanyard included with the bike mount failed as well.Overall, Rokform is the best multi-use system I’ve found that meets all my qualifications and covers all my use-cases. Would that the ring grip & lanyard were longer-lasting.

The media could not be loaded. The package I received was not brand new and may have been used or tampered with before I received it.Item received was previously opened. The item doesn't work. Ring is very loose. Not tight as showed on the Rokform video. but I would've kept if the ring was tight. When i looked closer I found that one corner is broken already. That's immediately red flag that I have to return it. I bought it because I got the Rokform case, so I really needed this ring to make the case completely. I will buy the product again to give it a fair try because of build quality.

I really liked the practicality, finish and robustness of this attachment. Other than that, the magnet is surprisingly strong and useful. The kick stand is machined metal, so it's really sturdy.The only downside is the price. 40 bucks is a little too expensive in my opinion.

The magnet is nice and strong and I liked the ring, until it broke. I see now several other reviews with the same issue. I've only had this for less than 5 months and the hinge on the ring broke. Kinda disappointing for a $40 accessory.
