I recently acquired the Gonine AC-PW20 power supply for my Sony cameras, and it has truly revolutionized the way I shoot. The Gonine AC-PW20, designed for the Sony ZV-E10, A6400, and other compatible cameras using the NP-FW50 dummy battery, has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance and reliability. Performance and Compatibility: One of the key factors that drew me to the Gonine AC-PW20 was its compatibility with various Sony camera models. Whether I'm using the ZV-E10 or A6400, this power supply kit fits seamlessly, ensuring a consistent power source during shoots. The inclusion of the NP-FW50 dummy battery makes it incredibly versatile, and I can confidently use it across multiple camera bodies in my arsenal. Reliable Continuous Power: The Gonine AC-PW20 delivers a reliable and steady power supply to my cameras, eliminating the need to constantly swap out exhausted batteries. This is a game-changer for long photoshoots and video recording sessions. I no longer have to worry about battery life, ensuring uninterrupted creative flow. Build Quality and Durability: The build quality of the AC-PW20 is impressive. It feels robust and well-made, capable of withstanding the rigors of on-location shoots. The cables are adequately long, offering flexibility in positioning and setting up my gear. Noise-Free Operation: One notable feature is the virtually noise-free operation of the Gonine AC-PW20. During video recording, silence is golden, and I'm delighted that this power supply does not introduce any unwanted noise or interference into my audio. Value for Money: Considering its performance and versatility, the Gonine AC-PW20 is an excellent investment for any Sony camera user. It eliminates the need for frequent battery changes and ensures a dependable power source, which ultimately saves both time and money on additional batteries. In conclusion, the Gonine AC-PW20 power supply has become an essential component of my camera gear. Works Great for Sony Alpha EV-10 and 5100
I have a small basement studio for podcasting and use two cameras that were constantly running out of battery. These adapters have been a game-changer, saving me the time and hassle of removing the batteries, charging them, and reinstalling them. They're an absolute must if you’re doing any kind of indoor media work where you need your camera to operate continuously for hours. I also use the same camera for Zoom calls, and the adapters have made the experience seamless. No more interruptions due to low battery! Tip: Be sure to push the adapter all the way in until the purple locking mechanism engages, and then close the lid. If it’s not fully inserted, the cable can get pinched, as shown in my picture. Overall, these adapters are fantastic and make indoor video work so much easier and stress-free! Highly recommend!

Works perfectly on A6500 and A7Rii, Great buy.
Yay, this is pretty cheap and works perfectly on my Sony a 6500 and A7Rii. I shoot school plays which can last 2 hours or more, and have been using battery packs to try to last the whole show, but the battery will still drain when supplemented with USB power, just at about half speed, so I'd still have to change batteries in both cameras at least once when filming in 4K. This solves that problem, and I think my A6500 will have less heat issues as the dummy battery insert/unit stays cool. Some people mention that there battery indicator keeps going down (99, 98, 97...), mine stays at 100%. Don't think it really matters because this thing works perfectly. Also, the cord is pretty long which is a plus. There's three sections of cord, and you get a good 10 foot or so out of it. I'm going to buy another one for my a7Rii. Great peace of mind when you have an outlet close by. I can't think of a single draw back. The battery pack has a pull away connection between it and the transformer piece, which I think is great as it would separate there before yanking on the battery really hard if someone tripped over it. I think of that as a fail safe.

Great for sony a6000 owners who want to do long time lapses or video.
Works well with my sony a6000. pros: - powers camera while leaving usb port available for use with intervalometer or for tethering to laptop. - good for time lapses, astrophotography, or other situations where you will need camera to be powered on for several hours but don't want to ruin shot by having to change battery. - long adapter cable so converter box will not be dangling from your camera if you use a tripod cons: - your camera is no longer weather resistant when using this instead of regular battery - although your camera won't shut down or lose power, it may still tell you that there is a decreasing percentage of battery or even tell you that there is no battery life left. This is just confusing/ unnerving more than anything.

Increíble solución para poder usar mi cámara en filmaciones extendidas sin necesitad de estar cargando varias baterías. Desde el inicio nunca marcó al 100% la batería, sin embargo no ha causado problemas.

Open flap on battery door, run cord through, and then close the door
This review is for the Sony ZV-E10 (EDITED) I've seen conflicting reviews on this model adapter's fit. I initially thought it did not fit. There is a bit of play in this dummy battery to allow for room for the cord to be closed between the battery and the door. Yes, there is a rubber flap on the battery door so the door can be closed, and the wire ran through the door. With all this being taken into account, this is probably why some people think the battery doesn't fit. The door battery door must be closed in order for proper fit.

I love this thing. Keeps the camera consistently charged and perfect if you use a smaller Sony camera as a webcam.

Ships to Australia so disappointing the plug is US, but any figure 8 power cord with work and I’ve been very happy so far.

I was skeptical at first. But, this does the perfect job for live streaming. The camera does not heat up for long streaming hours. You can go for it. Downside - the cables that come along are a little fragile. So, you need to be extra careful.

I’ve only used this power supply twice so far, but both times it was for 3-4 hours at a time. My camera continued to show 97% charge the whole time, and it didn’t seem to get quite as hot as when using the battery. My only real complaint is that the plastic on the dummy battery itself feels quite light and a little cheap, and I am definitely going to do my best from bashing it around too much, as I’m not sure how much punishment it’ll take. It does seem to be made well, it might just be from how lightweight it feels. Only time will tell. Overall tho, it seems to work quite well, the cords seem like they’re decent quality, and I haven’t had any actual issues so far. I’d recommend this product to friends, if asked.
