National Geographic Greatest Landscapes: Stunning Photographs that Inspire and Astonish

A nice book with some good pictures - however it is almost square and inevitably many landscape pictures are rectangular - ie landscape format. Consequently a good deal of pictures in the book are a rectangle with a large white space above and below, and a considerable number are irritatingly printed across two pages with the picture filling one page, and across the fold line to part of the page opposite with two thirds to a half of that page being just blank space.Go to a photography exhibition, take the pictures off the wall, fold a sharp crease in them about a quarter of the way across, and asking everyone if that looks better...There are a few panoramic pictures that run right across two pages, and a few square ones that fill a single page, but this book would have looked a lot better if the book itself had been rectangular

My step father has dementia and can’t read words any more but loved looking at the pictures in thisbook.

Beautiful book ... bought for a present for my Dad who absolutely loves it. Photographs are amazing. Really heavy good quality book.

A fan of great 'vistas' - i've been to some of these and its spurring me on to see some of the rest eventually!
