Lonely Planet Miami & the Keys

Best Book I've Found for the Area
I took three books on South Florida out of the library in order to decide which one to buy. This is the one I chose to purchase. The itineraries are very helpful, as are all of the maps with various sites pinpointed. It provides the necessary information in a succinct manner.

Perfect
Has all we needed to plan our road trip for next year.

Redundant Entries of the same places to visit through out the book -
I purchased this book to read up on Miami and the Keys before my relocating to Miami. The book has some good points, but it is also very redundant. For example, every chapter mentions the fruit stand/ farmer's market "Robert is Here" almost once. And it is always the same with other points of interest as well in the book. Stone Crab is mentioned again and again as food to try while visiting Miami. Yet, the book doesn't tell you of the best or preferred restaurants to visit for stone crab, or arapes, or coffee, or much of anything. The phrase "Smell, Taste, Enjoy, and Indulge" is used. Which is a letdown. I have now been in Miami for a month now and this book is useless to me.
