Perfect for small spaces
Bought this for my daughter to practice her dances in our apartment. It is perfect.

This works, it's sturdiness let's me do so many more things than other portable batres
This barre is sturdy. It's made of metal hand rails painted to look like wood and has very heavy and sturdy metal stands that lie on your floor. It comes complete with all the parts you need and if you're like me you can mostly do it yourself, although you may want a second person to help with minor adjustments as well as getting the rails where they belong. This Barre has two sets of rails and they adjust in two different ways. Each one slightly changes the functionality of how you use it. I am a chubby Barre teacher and I teach different classes every day using the Barre. I teach a more classic class that uses it frequently. You can if you position this barre right do fold-overs and chair pulses which is a functionality I find most portable barres and chairs or other substitutes lack. The problems people seem to have with many portable barres is that people don't use them correctly, they grab and pull off the Barre and although this is sturdy you can't pull off it,for that you need the reinforced walls studios have. (But pulling off a Barre to do waterski feels so damaging anyway and is a skill you can teach during the floor portion of class called thigh dancing. Thigh dancing allows people far more control and allows Barre to be taught in many different places including community centers, parks and beaches.) What I am looking forward to is taking this barre back into my public classes so people can see and feel it for themselves. Tips: Follow the well written instructions especially about exactly where to place the non skid pads, wrong placement could make this barre feel less sturdy to the touch than it actually is. Make sure you divide the left and right insertion points as soon as you get the Barre,it helps make assembly much easier. If you don't use an allen wrench much it works completely different than you think it will, the smaller portion is what applies the tork to it. Watch how you put the Barre together,if you do it wrong you will have a highly visible button in the front where you don't want it to be seen. Have another person help you check that all the pertinent points are tighter than you think you will need them to be,even the best person applies a little too much pressure to the Barre sometimes!

Not slip resistant
Had to return because the mat was not non slip and would spin across the floor when my daughter attempted to spin. Did not work on laminate wood or carpet. For the price it shouldn't be moving

Nice and wide, rolls easy, makes decent sound
My daughter is a top and she was hoping for something a little bit more loud. But, it’s nice and wide, which some of them or not. It rolls up easy and it does its job. She was excited to hear a bunch of tap noise, but we have beautiful marble floors and she cannot tap on those and we don’t like her making noise for the neighbors. So she says this works really well. They have heavy would ones how do you, but this works

Sturdy and Affordable Double Ballet Barre
Very happy with the sturdiness, light weight mobility, and adjustable double ballet barre. There are four holes equally spaced. I placed my barres at the top two holes. Extremely easy to assemble with very clear directions with the included tool. I am unable to install a permanent barre, and this is a great solution.

Mixed review
Mixed feels about this barre. Easy to assemble and individual pieces were sturdy. However we were disappointed the barre itself was metal not wood. Also, we had to exchange for a second barre as one of the metal support poles would not fit on top of the support legs. The barre wobbles A LOT! We ended up putting a piece of fleece fabric between the support leg and the side poles to make the fit snugger so the barre would wobble less. At almost $200 would expect to not have any of the above issues.

Product as described.
Very good but marring from the pointe shoes are not easily cleaned leaving ugly sights. Overall considering for such potability of a mat, can’t expect anything more.
