No waste
Easy to fill. Hangs nicely. Love that the back is solid material makes for less waste.I bought 2 cause I like them so much. Great to use in my trailer and at the campsite.

Durability
Velcro is worthless for keeping the top of the bag closed. The clips and hanging straps need to be more heavy duty. The mesh feeding grid seems very durable. So far, the feeder has endured 3 days of abuse by my mules, which is more than I can say for other feeders. So far, so good. I suspect that I will need to replace the clips with heavier ones.

Front Holds up Better than Back
So far this hay feeder is easy to use. Top loading, opens wide to put flakes of hay in. I have a fat Haffie, and I needed a slow feeder that was easy to use, and didn't require me trying to stuff hay into it. I had a hay net, and it was so hard to fill and then I had to tie it up, and untie it when I used it. This has easy to use snaps and straps to hang it with. I have no problem putting the hay in the wide top. Very sturdy, I don't worry that it won't hold up:). Adding after using it for awhile. The back does not wear as well as the front. Wear holes from being used for for awhile.

sturdy! it lasts!
my vet recommended this as my horses tend to destroy the other types of corded hay nets. I had my doubts the webbing would survive my quarter horse mare, she has destroyed nets, hay pillows, and every other kind of expensive net out there. But it's been awhile, and this one is still in one piece! I highly recommend. The spacing is less frustrating than the other nets, and it still takes her a while. She cannot chew and ingest (yes, she eats hay nets) this net. Additionally, the webbing is much kinder to my geldings soft nose. The other corded nets scratch and irritate his nose.I highly recommend these! wish I had found them sooner, would have saved a lot of money on other (destroyed) nets! I plan to get more in different colors!

Surprisingly good for goat use!
Our goat has managed to damage or get stuck in every cost-effective hay-containing contraption we've tried. (I'm not spending hundreds of dollars on a stand-alone stock feeder...) She also manages to waste about half her hay and I was hoping this design would help. This has remained unscathed in the couple of months we've used it. VERY sturdy for goat use! It has also reduced the waste due to her sloppy eating habits. For a goat, she's particularly particular. If the grass hits the ground, she won't eat it... She'll eat dropped grass and alfalfa in the hay stall, but not her pen. Who knows!?!In the end, well worth the money.
