This is the worst tawa in the history of tawas. DO NOT BUY!
Bought this one and everything sticks to it. Despite copious amounts of oil, this thing is absolutely horrible. I gave it plenty of time and hoped it would get better. Nope. The only thing I can maybe cook on it is chapatis and that too sticks. What a horrible product. Amazon should stop selling this ASAP

Dosas didn't came out well !!
The dosas didn't came out well. It never met its purpose. Not sure, however, would not recommend this for chapatis and dosas!!If others are in sync with my thoughts, do write!It was bought after I had very good experience with the purchase of Hawkins futura deep pot. However, this product has failed my expectations.

Not for induction:(
Please don’t buy it for your induction cooker 😞.. it cooks very very slow .. it’s probably not mentioned it’s not for induction.

Best griddle for daily cooking. No nonstick coating, still handles things very little oil. Not heavy, well built, durable and machine washable.

Ideal for all items
I returned this product because it is small. It says 26 cm. But 2 cm is sloping edge which cannot be used. I already have 28 cm concave hard anodized tawa from the same brand which I am using it for making dosa. The best features of this product are* It looks new even after several years (My 28 cm tawa still looks new)* Metal ladle can be used* No seasoning is required. Just heat the tawa for 90 seconds in high flame. Apply oil. Simmer. Now your tawa is ready for making dosa.* Unlike iron tawa, you can wash this everyday after use* Unlike nonstick tawa that is harmful to health, this one is perfectly healthy.* Most important of all "the tawa heats evenly and there is no burning of dosa in the center".* Easy to maintain and store. No rusting. Longevity guaranteed.* Except for the slipperiness when using on gas stove, I can't think of any downside.Go for 28 cm tawa, if you are buying to make dosa.
