what do the main character cards look like?

There are no character cards? There’s a game board, 4 flat plastic gingerbread-shape tokens, and a set of cards representing steps on the board’s path to its gingerbread house goal : mostly showing 1 or 2 colored squares, plus a few picture cards representing the path’s special steps (lollipops, candy canes, etc). These all look exactly as they did in my family‘s 1950’s set.

Does this version have the cards to move around the board? I don't want a modern version with the spinner.

This is totally the old game, yes cards, and very clean board, not all the goofy stuff that the new game has. It is great. I got it for my grandkids, and my daughter loves it because it is like the game she played as a kid. Also love the time it comes in.

What are the dimensions of the box? One place it says 10.5 inches, which is perfect, and another place it says 11.5 inches, which is too big to store.
