Bush Furniture Saratoga Tall 5 Shelf Bookcase in Harvest Cherry

First, I want to say they pack these very well. Our Ped-X delivery driver was less careful than he should have been and the box arrived damaged on the outside. However, because of the cardboard corners, foam, and double thick packing box, the product was unharmed. Second, they take a bit to put together but the instructions are good and all the parts are labeled well. Finally, we ordered three of these and made a large wall unit for our teen daughter's room. She absolutely loves them and they are beautiful! Pictures show damaged box with unharmed shelving and finished result.

Looks beautiful, quality product, this kind of thing usually looks cheap and falls apart rather quickly, but this one is really nice.

Nice looking shelf. Seems sturdy. As mentioned by some of the other reviews, the directions are a little vague in some areas. Be sure to carefully assemble, if you inadvertently, switch the right/left sides (vertical uprights), you'll end up having to disconnect the shelving and start over. My guess, the Chinese translation of the directions probably didn't translate well. The only other thing I think that deserves mentioning, the back of the shelf-back panel is little more that a cardboard/fiber-board sheet with a printed-stained wood-grained pattern. It come folded so there is a noticeable vertical "crease" that shows from top to bottom. On the whole, it looks good and was offered at an affordable price-point for a shelf.

Arrived as expected, easy to put together and it matches my other furniture and it looks great.

3.5 stars. The packaging arrived damaged, but the items inside were well packaged in Styrofoam. I bought two. They were fairly easy to put together by myself, the instructions were understandable. The only bad side was that one of the trim pieces was broken in half. I used these for a built-in look, so I didn't need it, but it was disappointing to spend so much and receive damaged items. The overall quality is good, heavier than most pressed partical board items and the finish looked nice. I suspect the broken piece occurred during delivery.

I love this shelf. I used a drill and it took me about an hour or so. As you can see, I didn't need much help from my "assistant". 😂 I took one star off because the instructions weren't clear about which way the sides needed to be facing. I had a drill, so i just made new holes instead of disassembling it to fix my mistake. Works well for my needs.

Beautiful bookcase, good quality and easy to assemble.
