Decent and convenient quick access storage
Liked: good design provides quick access to small items that are normally loose on the bed or in larger box that's harder to get to. The boxes tuck nicely into an area that's usually dead space in a pickup bed and swing out for easy access. There is a weather-resistant foam liner in the lid.You get a nice handful of extra hardware that will probably wear over time like the plastic hinge inserts and extra steel (appear to be stainless) drill mounting screws and nuts. Top marks there. I ordered 2 of these boxes and they both have a common key. The locks have a weatherproof cover Another 2 pluses. A mystery if that was intentional, a coincidence or every unit sold uses the same key. There's also a generous intergrated hasp to hang a lock on the main mounting bracket so some clever chap can't easily just lift off the entire box or unscrew the brackets and walk away.It fits under my folding hardside bed cover. 2 thumbs up there. For a little over $100 per, and chinese made, I probably got what I paid for, but for light duty, they may well be the answer.Time will tell if the hard plastic cases will crack or deteriorate (hinge inserts are made of the same material). Hinge inserts need to be set firmly with some gentle taps from a rubber mallet or pressed on with a vice. The design makes the frame, which is quite stable, adjustable to line up the locking hardware. Recommended pre-assy to make sure before tightening up the fasteners. *Other notes: These are mounted a bit high to maintain access to the anchor strap points below. Also had to reposition and modify the hard cover rail clamps to not interfere with the swing-out function of the boxes. Bottom line...it all fits and functions as intended.Disliked: Both the main mounting brackets and the extension lock pieces on both box sets have right angles that are not 90°. Visibly so and confirmed with a right angle ruler and speed square. You must attend to this or the whole locking geometry will be affected. Fortunately (or not) all the pieces are of a *very* mild steel. Way softer than angle iron and can be tapped back to 90° with a vise and a ball-peen hammer and little effort. As shown in the pics, the side frame mounting area of my '13 Ram dually is contoured, not flat, and required a ¼" shim to make it vertical, which then required longer mounting screws (not provided). So when the website says it fits a certain group of trucks, it should read "sort of".No instructions. The website does warn of this as well as recommending 'professional installation' as I recall. How the pieces assemble is not hard to figure out. It's the actual mounting that can be difficult to those without some mechanical skills or adequate tools. If you have both it's total DIY and a good, inexpensive accessory. If you *do* need a pro-install, your cost will probably double at least and not make these worthwhile.Just laying it out as I see it.

Durability
I've had it for at least 1.5 years getting close to 2 years. Color has faded of course but it's plastic so what are you gonna do. Pretty durable for the most part. The cap that goes over the lock doesn't keep moisture out. So if the lock is hard to turn spray WD-40 or an equivalent inside it. Rivets hold the shell to the bracket and the broke due to weight within a year. After removing the broken Rivets on both ends using 1/4" bolts you can mount it back on the bracket. Close to a year it started to sag (to be expected due to weight). My only complaint is the use of rivets otherwise it works great.

Ok for price, modification needed
For the price considering what else is out there it is a good deal, no installation instructions but if you look at the product picture you can figure it out. Had to modify the locking bar to account for the rear cargo hooks nothing a grinder couldn’t handle. They take some time to get the latch working to hold them in place a little fiddling and a good slam get them in place however. Mine was missing one of the latches on the inside that the lock attaches to I contacted the seller waiting on a reply. The space is big and the way I mounted mine they fit underneath the bed cover I have and they swing out and pop out. There are little holes too to lock them from swinging so if someone did get into the bed they couldn’t just swing them out and take them. Need a couple locks for those. Overall decent boxes for the price.UPDATE: Contacted seller about missing lock, they couldn’t just send it I would have had to send BOTH boxes back for a replacement set, instead they gave me a small refund. Neither box will latch into place and stay so I had to get deadbolts so they wouldn’t swing open. There is a spot for those so that was good. Hindsight is 20/20 I would have spent a little more for boxes the both came and worked as advertised.

Garbage storage boxes
Worst product for the money, and the sturdiness of this product is even worse than the product itself.Within the first week, the locks broke, the mounting hardware failed, and the boxes became absolutely useless and were removed, or fell out within two weeks...A great idea, but a seriously useless product to purchase...
