The flask retains heat very well. I have tried it and it retains for more than 24 hoursFeatures1 It is made up of metal.2 The inner and the outer Black parts which you can see are plastic.3 It has two covers which I found to be an interesting feature. The first cover's main purpose is to retain the heat and the second cover can be used as a cup4 I haven't tried it with tea or coffee as it would need to be cleaned but I have tried knorr soup and it retained its heat for about 6 hours after which the heat started to decrease. the heat was still there after 24 hourspurpose1 The main purpose of the flask is to store hot water. I also tried carrying soup in it, and it is better than expected as it retains almost the same temperature even after 6 hours and after 24 hours it still has a slight warmth to itnote1 Do not lose the rubber ring on the first cover as it stops leakage and retains heat I lost the rubber ring of one such bottle The water leaked and it became unusable. As it is a metal bottle handle it with care2 Do not drop the flask as I do think that it would damage it even though it is made up of metal it is a small bag given to carry it
