Great Bipod for the money
Great economical choice to the "Genuine Accu-Shot Atlas Bipod BT46-LW17 PSR 4.75" - 9", oem". I own this and the real deal Accu-Shot Atlas Bipod and this functions the same. Nice quality built Bipod, good value, minor differences for the Accu-Shot and it works! I have included pictures of both side by side so you can see for your self. Which one is the Accu-Shot and which one is the Professional Tactical? I love the Accu-Shot Bipod, but can't afford one for every one of my rifles! The Precision Tactical is the one on the right.

Don't think of it as a B&T Atlas bipod replacement....not even close.
For the money, the bipod is fine. You get what you pay for. Don't expect B&T's Atlas' refined features, quality and reliability when you pay less than $50 for a bipod.Although the bipod as a whole is fine for use on a low-end rifle, the feet that came with the bipod is a complete joke. It has absolutely ZERO grip. The feet are made of hard plastic/polymer, not rubber. The only rubber compound you will find on the feet are the rubber o-rings for preventing water and dirt from getting into the legs when the feet are inserted. These feet are so slippery such that even shooting a tame .22LR rifle on the bench (made of either wood or concrete) will cause the bipod to slip and slide unless you hold on to the rifle with He-Man strength and also pull the buttstock into your shoulder HARD. If you don't do that, then the bipod is not very conducive to achieving tight groups. These feet also slip and slide on the dirt and grass when shooting in the prone position -- you'd have to make a couple of divots for the feet so the bipod will stay somewhat planted. The checkered grip portion on the legs does not provide enough friction for a good grip when your hands or gloves are wet. This means the bipod is not very user-friendly when the weather turns sour on you.The tilt function is not very useful, because when you screw the big knob down to tighten the head you can't tilt anymore. You can leave the knob loose, but then you don't have a very stable platform for the rifle. Panning has no issues, just the tilting function.Overall, the construction is decent, but the manufacturer degraded some of the functions you'd find on a genuine B&T Atlas. I don't recommend this bipod for serious hunting use, and I definitely do not recommend it for use in wet weather. As for use on the bench, you'd either have to get different feet, wrap sand paper around the OEM feet, or pin the legs down the bench top in order for the bipod to stay put. (Unfortunately you cannot just buy genuine B&T Atlas replacement rubber feet for this imitation bipod, because the legs on the imitation are too narrow; see my answer to the question "Will atlas bipod replacement feet fit this bipod?" in the Q&A section above.)

Pretty solid bipod for a chinese knockoff
Legs extend nicely and feel secure when fully extended. Only issue is the cant of the bipod needs a pliers or some serious hand tightening to secure it down correctly. Otherwise it breaks free very easily (Unlike the genuine accushot bipod). Overall for my purposes I can look past this, bring something to tighten the cant knob down and you'll be good.Would recommend to those not looking to spend 300$ but get the majority of the quailty of those bipods.

Great Deal!
I was never impressed with any of the Harris bipods. I really like the Atlas product but at nearly $300, it was something that I believed is very over priced. I will admit I have never held an Altas bipod in my hands but seriously, what could justify spending that kind of money for a bipod. I notice this bipod was very similar the the Altas version and for about 1/5 the price, I thought I would give it a try. It is very well built and I have not had any issues with it. If it wasn't so easy to remove and put on other rifles, I would buy another one.

Definitely NOT an atlas.
This looks like an atlas but is a POS. After tightening the swivel knob as hard as you can, it still comes loose when deploying the legs. Push button for deploying the legs popped off while shooting and was lost forever. Useless as a bipod now. Just buy a Harris if the atlas is too much $$.

and the bipod often twists side to side very easily and is difficult to keep straight
Beware the adjustment buttons on this bipod are also the retaining nuts for the the adjustment pins. The manufacturer does not put lock-tight on the retaining nuts, they are free to loosen and pop off. They require constant adjustment to keep the correct length and to keep the adjustment pins from catching on the bipod body. One of the buttons came loose and popped off in the field, now my bipod cannot be adjusted and the pin hangs loose. Very disappointing. Make sure you put lock-tight on the retaining nuts to keep them at the correct position. Also, the bipod also doesn't have as much free-recoil play (forward and backwards) as I would have hoped and the retaining nut can be difficult to tighten, and the bipod often twists side to side very easily and is difficult to keep straight. I would have given this 4 stars if not for the adjustment pin retaining nuts coming loose.

Great buy for the money.
Great bipod for the money. Can't beat it. Can't see spending $300 for the Atlas when you can get this one. Looks great on my Ruger Precision. Matches the rifle perfectly. Does the job.

Okay for the price
For the price, this is a good bipod. First time out, I had one of the little cylinders that are part of the position lock work its way off while shooting. One leg's pivot point loosens back up the first time I move it no matter how many times I tighten it. It only seems to want to pivot for rifle cant in one direction. If you are a serious precision shooter, you will want to invest more $ on a better bipod. For just going out and having some fun shooting targets, it is fine. The fact that it has all the same features, just doesn't do them as well, as a $200 bipod makes it worth buying.
