Overall the product meets the need, but the rivets that hold the swinging bar onto the mounting bracket are a little loose. It serves the purpose of keeping toddlers from opening the door, but not sure I'd trust it as a full security device against a determined adult.

Not as sturdy as I had hoped but it does the job.

Works well, but does feel a slight bit cheaper than the one I had before. The latch hangs and feels loose when attached to the door upright (as it is supposed to be) which adds to the cheap feel. But it still works as its supposed to and looks great! For the price, its a good buy.

Not particularly happy with this one. The unit itself just comes in a plastic bag with zero instructions, which isn't too big of a deal, although surprising. It's obviously pretty easy to figure out how to install though I would like to know the specific size pilot holes to still in order to make this to most secure I can. Very odd they don't include this information. As other reviews have said my toddler figured out how to defeat this lock pretty much straight away so it is not serving it's purpose for me. I went to go return and found out this item is not eligible for return, which is pretty frustrating to purchase something you don't find that out until after the fact. They don't make that clear, other than linking to the general Amazon return policy. Which isn't clear at all. I think that's more on Amazon than the seller in this case but still sure would be good to know before you make a purchase

Its ok but the hinge is loose and it catches causing it to lock by accident. I bought one from home depot and it has a stop on it at each position so that you cannot lock it by accident from it catching. Other than that it works great but it has this one design flaw.

Bigger than expected, looks very nice and stands out.

Material looks sturdy, but when you get it, it seems quite cheap. Overall, still does the job.
