Perfect for under a floating shelf by the bathtub

THis towel bar looks wonderful once it is on the wall. I bought the set first but needed a second bar for the other towel. This one is about 1/16th deeper that the one that came with the set. (Set included the toilet paper holder, one towel bar, one hand towel bar etc.) If they are 12 inches or more apart, you may not notice but if they are only 1-2 inches apart on the wall, you will see the difference. The other tip is to find a stud to attach it to. Just the plastic mollies won't be enough over time due to the design. Once on the wall, it is a stellar look.

Update: operator error! Walked away then tried again later. Cooler heads prevailed and it went on easily. Beautiful! OLD: Despite what the other reviewers have said, I'm having a devil of a time installing this towel bar! I can get the brackets on the wall and they are spaced correctly but when I try to fasten the towel bar to the brackets using the supplied set screws and allen wrench, the bar just won't seat itself correctly on the brackets and it falls right off the wall. I've read the instructions over and over and taken the brackets back of to ensure they will stay put when the towel bar is off the wall and they do. Not sure what's happening when I go to put it on the wall but it just won't stay. In addition, it's very awkward to try to tighten the set screws as they're so close to the wall and the wrench is so tiny. The towel bar, itself, is attractive but I'd love it if I could get it to stay on the wall!

The builder who built our house put in 12-inch towel racks, as if we were miniature humans and had miniature towels. These were perfect because I didn't have to do any drywall repair; just mount the bar directly over where the old holes were. They look very nice and fit well in our bathroom. Installation is relatively simple. Just line the bar up over the area that you want to put it, use a level, and make sure that the clips get adjusted inside the towel bar so that they're centered when you mark your holes.

Just as promised

Ordered twice -- the first time it came without any hardware and the bar was bent -- but not to worry, it isn't very strong so i just bent it to be back to normal o.O BUT it still wouldn't hang even with my own hardware -- so i got a second one thinking I just got a bad one ... It also will not stay on the wall because the mounting method is not done well. -- Returning

I got a large and a smaller one... one for bath thowels and one for hand towels next to the sink... they both look GREAT... not too tough to install and are quite sturdy... I made sure I hit a stud on one end or the other.

The product is stunning to look at but also durable quality.

I was surprised by the quality of construction and finish of the bar. The full back enabled me to mount at desired wall location, drilling holes through it at stud locations, and then use matching stainless hex screws to secure into the studs. Could do pull ups with it now.

I had a bit of trouble installing but I'm 80 years old..younger people should have no trouble.
