Kidco TR4001 DinePod Travel Highchair

We bought this for our 2 year old son and it works well as a chair for outside, but, he can climb out. The back of the buckle is sewed very low on the back of the seat, so it’s actually pointless for a toddler. I buckled him in and went back inside to grab the food and he had climbed out and was walking inside to follow me! Very scary. But now I know it’s not secure.Pros:-Folds up easily and fits in the trunk. Great for traveling and eating outdoors.-Good height. We put it right next to the table and his food is on the table.-Sturdy. Although I don’t like him climbing in and out, he thoroughly enjoys it (eyes rolling).Cons:-The buckle is pointless for our 2 year old. We don’t even bother trying to buckle him in, because he can climb out. The back of the buckle should be at the top of the back of the seat... it makes no sense why it’s so low. If it was higher, the straps would be around his hips and actually contain him. But it’s low and he just pushes himself up and out.-The fabric doesn’t come off so you have to just hand wash it. It would be nice if it could be put in the washing machine.Besides our son being able to get out, this is a good product. It’s been great for taking to our family’s houses and having a spot for him to be right up to the table outside. I wish the buckle was designed better.

When I took it out of the bag it was dirty. Someone must have returned it after using it. So I had to clean it before I could use it!! Otherwise it is a great product!

No assemble needed, easy to clean and convenient to carry.

Good quality, daughter likes it.

This is ok. I don’t recommend this for any baby over 1. The kids have no place for legs and can easily get out if older.

This is a must have baby item! We purchased this to take out to dinner because we were tired of using restaurant high chairs. This item is super lightweight and we always leave it in our trunk so we have it when eating out!
