This is an awesome pen, especially for beginners. I've dabbled with a few cheaper options from Walmart but wanted something a little more professional yet easy to take care of. I use this pen every day for work, writing full page lists, and at home for my hobonichi, tons of writing for this pen. Using it everyday extensively for almost a month, I still have just under half of the first ink cartridge left that came inside the pen, the ink goes a long way. It's very smooth and gives a cool black to dark grey effect when writing lots or kind of fast, it's very pretty. You get 11 black ink cartridges that for someone who writes alot, would probably last you always a year or even more. The tip has never clogged on me yet, or dried out, with the 03 Fine tip, getting thicker and thinner lines, and such an easy, mess free ink refill with the tubes, none of the ink leaks out into the barrel or pool on your paper while writing, and no rinsing the tip, also haven't noticed it ever staining my skin to where I couldn't just wash it off. I haven't had it bleed threw any of my pages either. The barrel feels mildly cheap as it is plastic but has help up great in my work pants pocket at work, mind you sometimes the pen case barrel will unscrew slightly after moving around alot but I do fidget with it tons so that might be why. It might get a tiny bit scratchy if you write to fast or ink gets too low but that's about it. This is one of best pens to choose for trying out cheaper calligraphy pens while being a beginner and everyone compliments it and loves the pen asking where to get it. I plan on buying more with different colored inks to see how they do as well. 10/10 would recommend 👌

Awesome pen, you can’t go wrong! The only thing I can say is that it’s not very durable, the plastic is not great. The barrel on mine cracked already so I can’t fill up the barrel, but thats no big deal

For a fountain pen at this price, no complaints at all, easy to use, grip is perfect, writes smoothly. No complaints at all!

The package was opened prior to me receiving it and the fountain pen was missing. The box of cartridges was also opened (tape was cut) though all of those were still present. Very dissapointed as I was looking forward to trying out my first preppy.
