Infinity Yoga Strap for Stretching - Stretch

I've not tried this yet in class, but used it at home a bit and I can tell it's going to be very useful. I chose the large size based off the ordering guide, and it's perfect for my 5'10", long-legged frame. When it's not stretched, it's a good length for arms-behind-the-back poses. Stretched out, I can hook it over my feet for seated forward folds. The best part - no adjusting a traditional strap in between poses!Update 6/24/15: I've had this for some time now, and I love it! It's been useful not only for practice, but also for physical therapy exercises. My shoulders are a work in process and currently don't rotate as they should, so moving through a typical vinyasa class can be a struggle for me. There's not always time for me to mess with a strap - by the time I get the thing unrolled and adjusted for the pose, everyone else is on to the next position. This has really improved my ability to "flow," because all I need to do is it pick it up when I need it. I also like the fact that I don't need to roll it up after class - I just pop it into my bag with my mat, and off I go. It's holding up well - I've not had any issues with it at all. It stretches when pulled, doesn't stretch too much when I don't need it to, and springs back easily. I highly recommend it.

Arrived early! Well constructed. Easier to use than traditional yoga straps which I find awkward. With traditional straps by the time I get the strap positioned correctly the instructor has moved on to the next position. That’s not so with the infinity strap. Fun color.

This is such a great strap! PERFECT for most of what I need a strap for. I love that it has just the right amount of stretch while still being sturdy and strong. The way the strap is turned makes it so easy to grab because the loops don't close. Really fabulous idea and well executed. This is a quality piece of equipment that I will be using for years.

I didn't know whether to get the 'stretch' or the 'original', and I'm pleased I went with the stretch. There is just a small amount of elasticity to it, but you can still apply pressure and not have it stay firm. In using this to support myself in forearm stand, for example, I find it to be the perfect size with just the right amount of 'give'. I am 5'6 and 130lbs, athletic, and as a yoga instructor I am very flexible due to daily practice. I got the small, and it is just right. Even for poses like Supta Hasta Padangustasana, this works for me in terms of size.... although I can reach big toes, sometimes as I warm up, or if I'm planning a class in which I will instruct with a strap, this works really well for me. I actually wish the studio I teach at had these types of straps for students to use! I'd love to teach a class with them! They are quite expensive for just one strap, so this is more for your personal practice. The reason I am dropping one star is for two reasons: 1) the color choice. I am not really in love with any of the colors on offer! I got the blue "moonbeam" and it is brighter, and more like a royal blue than pictured. So when I look at it, I just don't feel love for the color. 2) I have to fiddle with the strap to get it to lay in a loop. It seems to naturally want to twist... which is quite annoying for me. So I feel like I'm always trying to twist it around to make it so that it lays flat in a circular loop, instead of twisted up. Anyway, once I've done that, it works great.... so overall 4 stars!

I love this infinity strap! I was having great difficulty with some yoga poses after hip replacement surgery. I had almost given up on trying to do yoga. This strap has helped me immensely with some yoga poses that I never thought I could get into again without injuring myself! I was looking for a strap with a little give in it to help my short arms and old joints get into the yoga poses without injuring myself. This infinity strap is perfect for the job. I can bend a little lower and reach a little bit further every time I use it. I can also use it to correct my posture in some of the yoga poses. It really helped restore my confidence for doing yoga. I ordered a second infinity strap and I highly recommend this product to others.

As someone that is new to yoga, I needed some type of assistance to help me stretch and hold poses. I tried many styles of straps, bands, and even small hand towels. None of those worked very well. I now use the Infinity Strap several times during a class. It helps me reach and hold poses longer, gives be stability and allows me to focus on my technique and meditation. My yoga instructor has been practicing yoga for nearly 20 years also loved the Infinity Strap and purchased herself one for the same reason. It is as important to yoga as a mat and blocks!

I love this strap! I take it to class every time I practice and students comment on how easy and fun it looks to use. It's hard to know if I have the right size as it's a bit stretchy and flexible. I'm 5'8" 130 lbs and have a medium, but I think a small would work better for certain poses. I teach yoga at CorePower Yoga, we no longer borrow or share straps to use, so this would be a great asset to sell in our studios!

I am very proud of my purchase. I couldn't have found anything better. I like the fact that the strap is extensible and sturdy. I bought the medium size so it could fit two feet in when needed. I am now able to work on postures that were difficult for me before. The fact that it is wide facilitates the support of the feet and hands. I have been using it for a week now, since the delivery arrived before the due date, and I'm already addicted to it.I recommend it to anyone who wants to improve their postures and keep exploring new ones.

Prima di acquistare questa cintura, utilizzavo una classica cintura yoga con gancio in metallo. Al momento della scelta ero un po' in dubbio per questa cintura elastica, invece mi ha piacevolmente stupita. E' robusta, resistente e non cedevole, ma in più la leggera elasticità accompagna meglio i movimenti e consente di fare una certa resistenza. Sono molto soddisfatta.Ottimo anche il servizio clienti infinity strap, che avevo contattato via mail per un consiglio sulla scelta della taglia.

Mit 19,50 Euro (blitzschnell wohl von Amazon Deutschland geliefert) ist er sehr teuer, aber jeden Cent wert. Er ist eher wie ein sehr robustes Theraband als 8 geschwungen, wodurch er sich wunderbar als Hilfe für etliche Yogaübungen als "Gurt" anbietet. Er ist leicht dehnbar und super sanft auf der Haut (z. B. um Füße/Hände schneidet nichts ein, darauf wurde speziell geachtet). Laut etlichen Bewertungen bei www.amazon.com hilft er, dass man schneller flexibel wird als mit anderen Gurten und das auf eine sehr wohltuende sanfte Art. Die Farbe ist einfach traumhaft (Farbe entspricht genau dem Bild im Angebot, eine Art knalliges Magenta-Pink). Das Dehnen ist so angenehm, so wohltuend, wie ich es von keinem Yogagurt kenne, man hat eben eine Art Theraband plus Yogagurt und das megarobust, man hat eine Art 2 in 1Training, da die Dehnung dazu wirklich angenehm und dennoch sehr sanft ist, man dehnt sich also nicht in Richtungen, für die man noch nicht flexibel genug ist, da hatte ich erst Bedenken. Ich habe Größe L gewählt, wer schon sehr flexibel ist, kann vielleicht sogar kleinere Größen nehmen. Aber selbst L kann man - je nachdem, wo man den Gurt greift - jederzeit anpassen/kleiner machen. Diesen Gurt gibt es über USA auch als nicht dehnbar, ich bin jedoch von meinem dehnbaren sehr begeistert und liebe dieses kleine "Dehnen mehr" bei den Übungen.

I LOVE my infinity strap. I use it for so many yoga poses - to support shoulder stretches, provide binding for those twists that seem a little beyond me, and particularly for binds in poses that would usually need a flipped grip such as full dancer, king pigeon or tiger pose. It's a little miracle product that really helps progress yoga asanas. It's quite firm in its stretchiness, so you feel like you can really use its elasticity for support when required and you don't feel like it's going to give way. It's now a staple of my yoga practice.
