Middling quality - buy elsewhere
I bought 6 packages of this out of desperation to get my yarn on time for Christmas. In hindsight this was a bad idea - the price wasn’t great. Even worse? The quality. There are differences between packages in regards to the bulk of the yarn itself, sometimes it was nice and plush and sometimes it was thinner and kind of sad.It also seems like all my balls are just a bunch of junk yarn tied together? At first I thought these were just knots/kinks, but there’s two cut ends at each knot. At the end of the day this doesn’t impact the blanket I’m making, but it sure feels cheap for something that was definitely cheaper elsewhere.

Made a nice chunky scarf
Gorgeous colour. Got vintage white and its a beautiful creamy off white colour. I also purchased big knitting needles, 15 mm, and this knit up quickly into a lovely chunky scarf. Soft and warm. Wish they had other solid colours so as to knit more for familly and friends. Here are pics of the scarves I made in plum fields, as well as cranberry, baby blue, and then one which is a mix of cranberry and Lion brand homespun amethyst. I used 10 mm needles for the plum fields one. My fave is dark grey bernat blanket yarn mixed with Lion brand homespun waterfall on 15 mm needles. I use 2 strands one of each Very pretty

Misleading product. Dishonest pricing
As with other reviews... the name is stated as "big ball", product description states 300g as it should be. However the product image is 150g. The product I received was 150g. Ordered this back in March only because it was sold really cheaply, but turns out it was a veiled scam that I just discovered when I tried to use the yarn recently and only then looked properly at the tag and size. I already opened it up and started crocheting with it before realising something was wrong. Not worth the likely only 80% refund from Amazon by seller's dishonest listing to return.

Poor Quality
I don't generally leave a negative review but in this case I had to say something. I used this product to crochet a baby blanket. All 3 balls of yarn ( Bernat Blanket) had so many knot joints that I lost count. Also several cut lenghs. All 3 balls were from the same lot number but varied in shades of marine and even the ply/thickness was sparse. Very disappointed and would not order again. Have purchased many balls of this brand from Michaels and never had an issue with quality. I completed the blanket but would be embarrassed to give it to anyone.
