Sweet and Sexy
Kendall Ryan just needs to take my money... all of it! Every book I read, or listen to, I think is my favourite, and every time I’m proved wrong. Her writing is so captivating that I end up lost in the story, whether I want to be or not. Bro Code was no different, I loved the idea of this story and thought I’d enjoy it, but, it was so much more than I thought it would be. Kendall’s take on brother’s best friend is really awesome and add in the twists, I was on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next to bring everything together. These characters are so cute. I just adored Ava’s parents, they were so sweet and funny. I liked Nick, maybe he needs a story next.Barrett Wilson is a charmer for sure. He was sweet, and sexy. He also drove me half insane with his bro code excuse - my god, man! I may have thought about slapping him upside the head on more than one occasion. Ava is just awesome. I loved her character so much. She was committed and determined no matter what others said, I loved that about her. The love she had for the factory and the workers was commendable and made her such a strong character and I loved that. The relationship between Ava and Barrett was so cute. I loved their interactions. It was fun, since they’d known each other a long time, and lusted after each other for almost as long, seeing that finally come to fruition and them not be able to resist, it was the sweetest thing. The sex scenes were smoking hot and fit this couple and their story perfectly. In true honest fashion, and I know I’ve gushed about this book, there was one line that I didn’t like, that frustrated me a bit, it’s nothing major, personal taste and all that. But, since I’m still thinking about it, I’m mentioning it. Because, you can absolutely love a book, and still not like every aspect of it. That’s the joy of reading, right?

Such a sweet, swoony read!
Oooh! Ava and Barrett were so delicious! Ava is a strong woman and she's had to change her life due to her dad getting sick. She's now running his company and she has a good head on her shoulders. However, she no longer has a life and doesn't have time to date. When she and Barrett are brought together at her dad's birthday party, the chemistry between them was intense! They could only ignore it for so long. *smirk* I loved the banter between them and their passion was taboo because he was her brother's best friend. They were made for each other and while things didn't go as planned, it was SUCH A GOOD read! Highly recommend getting your hands on this one!

Unputdownable!
As Nabokov wrote, your work as a novelist is to get your characters up in a tree, then start throwing rocks at them. If you're a romance writer, you also need to make sure they have lots of great sex while they're up there. Kendall Ryan succeeds admirably here on all counts, as her protagonist lovers confront not one but three major problems -- two of them situational, and the third (ahem) anatomical. I won't spoil that last one for you, but it's an interesting twist, and as a sex and relationship therapist I was pleased to see it handled with accuracy and grace and maximum "unputdownability." Ryan is known for packing a lot of emotion into a story -- along with some great sex scenes -- and she clearly lives up to her reputation here.

I really enjoy Kendall Ryan's books
I really enjoy Kendall Ryan's books. I can always expect a good romance and a happy ending. I don't expect anything real deep and usually a predictable story. Her books are always full of fluff, which isn't a bad thing to me. Sometimes I need to read something that isn't full of intensity and I know I can get that from her books. I'm never disappointed with any of her books and usually fly through them.Bro Code was a lighthearted read. Your stereo typical "I've fallen for my brothers bestfriend" book.
