Hopefully it will make someone think twice about breaking in. Two came in a pack and I put batteries in both of them. One device light blinks and the other one had a solid red light that only lasted for about 3 days.

Put on my property where I am not there often. My neighbors commented on the new cameras assuming they are real. So needless to say I’d think they are convincing. Most criminals are not smart and the flashing light will deter them

Just installed one of these by our driveway gate. Installed very easy and was easy to install the batteries into. It stands out and the red blinking light can be seen from quite a ways away. From a distance you can't tell that is a ruse. The housing seems to be completely sealed so it should handle the weather well. Good product for the money!

The device was a little hard to twist open, other than that, it is pretty easy to handle, pop in two AAA Batteries ( not included ) screw it in where ever you want and it looks like you have real security cameras. Now if you like to put on a show like myself, have your cell phone handy, and once you have your camera installed, just pretend like you are trying to pair your cell with the camera, because we all have those nosey neighbors who love to sneak a peak through the curtains of their windows or blinds, so mine as well put on a good show and make it look like you really installed a nice piece of security tech that is wireless and connects to your cell phone.

Awesome 2 pack with lights under $10. 00. Wish every purchase was this satisfying . Looks crazy real. Construction site next door stopped debris from happening and makes people think before messing with your dogs.

I am very pleased with the cameras. I would definitely recommend them for the appearance they give off and for their cost. They arrived quickly and in good condition. They look real - or at least would make you think twice before doing something shady because you might be on camera. This is exactly what I was looking for as it seems that crime is increasing everywhere due to the economic downturn. They look real enough for the would-be-criminals to just not want to be bothered (because it could be a gamble if the cameras are real or not) and simply move along. I put the batteries in and saw the bright red light flashing and decided to take them out. In my opinion, the flashing light makes the cameras look like they could possibly be fake. I Googled this and, in fact, most real security cameras don't appear to have flashing red lights, but rather a constant dim red light or no light at all. I'm installing them at 4 locations around our house - front door, garage door, side garage man-door, and back door - screwing them into some wood just below our eavestroughs. At that height it will be harder to tell if they are real or not - and hopefully no one will want to stick around to thoroughly investigate. I also purchased some Mr. Beams (also through Amazon) battery operated outdoor motion security sensor lights to help act as a deterrent as well. From what I have researched, cameras (whether real or fake) and sensor lights in the front and back yard will often do the trick. Side note: The camera base unscrews from the camera making it easy to screw into wherever you want to mount it - and then screw the camera back onto the base after you get it mounted. I also didn't use the security sticker decals that came in the package as I felt they looked a bit questionably fake. Overall I would recommend this product if you want to to give the appearance of having a secure property but don't want to spend a ton of money or invest in a real security system.

We used this product for a hallway in an old ladies house .Helped her feel more secure. She doesn’t have the internet and it gave her a peace of mind
